Another very complicated Saturday for Pecco Bagnaia. After finishing fourth in qualifying at the Aragon Grand Prix, the Ducati centaur finished only 12th in the Sprint Race, recording yet another zero in the standings.

“I really struggled – admitted the three-time world champion to Sky Sports microphones after Saturday’s race -. In qualifying I did my best and still took 6 tenths. I knew it would be hard, but I didn”;t think so much.

“The speech is always the same: I can&#8217t brake hard and enter the corners, I have so many steering locks. It limits me a lot not to have confidence in the front, I have based my career on this and I can”t push as I would like to, continued the Piedmontese driver.

“I am not happy, I know something is not working, but we are trying everything. I will continue to be positive and sooner or later we will find something that can help me” concluded Bagnaia.

Published

on

After his success in the Sprint Race of the Aragon GP, the seventh out of the eight races of the season on Saturday, Marc Marquez spoke to the microphones of Sky Sports. “The goal was to do all the laps in the lead, but I had this inconvenience” confessed the Ducati rider.

“On Sunday we have to make some small changes so that it doesn&#8217t happen again, because everything becomes more difficult that way. But I knew I had the pace and I stayed calm” continued the’eight-time world champion.

“Is this Ducati better or my Honda from the golden days? Every bike has its own characteristics and its own moment, this Desmosedici is good obviously and it is the most balanced. But even with the Honda in 2014 or 2019 I felt good, it was simply another style. Now I ride in a different way” concluded Marquez.

Thanks to his success in the sprint race at Aragon, Marquez stretched in the standings, gaining 3 points over his brother Alex, now 27 points behind. In third place is Pecco Bagnaia, who is even 84 points behind his teammate.
