MotoGp, Argentina: Marc Marquez puts his hands up after a lions’ Friday

Marc Marquez dominated Friday’s sessions in Argentina
.
Friday’s two timed sessions in Argentina gave a clear indication: Marc Marquez seems to be definitely at ease, so much so that he finished both FP1 and FP2 with the best time, in the first case ahead of the surprising Johann Zarco on Honda and in the second ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio, of Team VR46.
The Catalan firmly affirms that he has no reason to anticipate the celebrations: “Alex goes very strong – he said, starting with his brother the discourse related to the opponents for him more fearsome – but also Bezzecchi and Di Giannantonio are fast. And then there’è Bagnaia, who è fell but could easily be among the top four or five”.
“The Ducati is going strong,” the number 93 later explained. It seemed to me that the set-up was not particularly suitable for my riding style but I must say that we did a great job during the day, and è it went very well. Now forò we have to think about qualifying, the race will depend so much on the grid position. There’è still a lot to do”.
Marc Marquez, class of 1993, è in his second season riding a Ducati, his first in the factory team. His debut in 2025 è was a happy one, to say the least, as at the Buriram circuit, on the first weekend of the season in Thailand, he took first pole position and then success in the Sprint Race and Grand Prix, immediately placing him at the top of the overall standings.

The very young British rider Joshua Tarling, bearer of the Ineos Grenadiers and a specialist in races against the clock, won the Tirana time trial, the second stage of the Giro d’Italia 2025.
The 21-year-old Welshman covered the 13.7 kilometers of the course in 16’07”, finishing one second ahead of Slovenian Primoz Roglic, winner of the pink race in 2023, and three ahead of Australian Jay Vine of UAE Team Emirates.
