The words of Dusko Ivanovic

Everything was easy for Real Madrid against Virtus Bologna. At the Segafredo Arena, in fact, the blancos made a vacuum since the first partial closed 30-17, dominating far and wide the match beating the felsinei with a peremptory 80-67. Speaking at a press conference, Black Vu head coach Dusko Ivanovic wanted to take full responsibility for the heavy knockout suffered by his boys.

“Tonight we had several problems in the first half, especially in the first ten minutes in which Real Madrid played well. We were not aggressive, the defense was not at the right level and that è my fault. In the second half we did better, but the gap was too wide to think of winning the game” began the coach of Virtus Bologna.

“Justin is doing his best. He’s a good player, but as with so many good players who have played in the NBA coming to Europe for the first time there are many differences. It takes time to adjust to a different basketball. For our part, we are trying to put him in the right conditions so that he can find the right confidence and play better” added the Montenegrin coach.

“Belinelli and Pajola had physical problems. Their status è to be evaluated day by day, but it should not be anything serious. We hope to be able to count on them already from the next game” commented Dusko Ivanovic.
