Lazio, Marco Baroni is still happy

The words of Marco Baroni
These are the words released by Lazio coach Marco Baroni at the end of the home match against Udinese that ended with the score 1-1: “The team gave a good performance against an opponent that is well, has physicalityà and has race. It was a very balanced match, where in some situations we could have concretized more, but the boys gave their best both physically and mentally. The players were disappointed, però I complimented them all the same, becauseé these close games should be played even soì” began the coach of the biancocelesti to the microphones of “Sky Sport”.
“They are young guys, they should be supported and helped. It’s clear that for different necessities; Dia è load of matches. We had some important absences that are coming back and we look forward to having everyone available. For some of the guys it's not easy to get to Lazio and take that extra step, but with the confidence of everyone I am sure they will also give us a big hand” continued the Capitoline coach.
” We were not able to impose our rhythm. The team, however, I è liked becauseé came from a Cup game where they had to adapt to a game plan definitely not in keeping with our characteristics. Now we have to regain our energy in view of the Europa League return match” added the former Hellas Verona coach.
“The growth” you can see it in these games, where the team has put us suffering. The discouragement of my players pleases me because it means that we are not content, but we knew it would be a complicated game and that we would have few opportunities to hurt. On Zaccagni è a crazy save was made. Our path è this and I see constant improvements. Overall, è a valuable point” concluded Marco Baroni.

Alcaraz welcomes Sinner to Rome: the Spaniard’s best wishes
The air of great tennis is once again breathing at the Foro Italico, where the Internazionali d’Italia is back to shine with the most anticipated players on the ATP circuit. Among them, Carlos Alcaraz did not hide his excitement to see Jannik Sinner back on court, after a three-month-long absence caused by the notorious Clostebol case. During the eve press conference, the Spanish world number 3 wanted to dedicate sincere and warm words to his Italian rival, emphasizing how Sinner’s return is positive news for the whole tennis environment.
“This is great. Honestly, I’m really happy to have him back. It has been three months. Obviously it has been difficult for him and I am sure it has been a very long time” Alcaraz said. “I think there was no better place to come back to than here, to his home in Rome.”
The mutual respect between the two talents is now well known and represents one of the most compelling rivalries in contemporary tennis. Alcaraz admitted that although they are in different halves of the scoreboard, he hopes to cross Sinner in the final. A wish that could materialize and would promise a top-level spectacle for fans.
“It’s great for me, for tennis, for the fans. To see him come back, to see him with his team again, to feel his energy – all that is special. I think I will enjoy watching him play again”, added the Iberian champion.
The possible resumption of the Alcaraz-Sinner dualism on the Roman red will ignite public enthusiasm and fuel anticipation for a challenge that could write another memorable page of the 2025 season.

Matteo Gigante enchants Rome: victory over Rinderknech and passage to the second round of the Internazionali d’Italia
The Foro Italico applauds another all-Italian success. Matteo Gigante, a young Roman tennis player, won a brilliant victory in the first round of the Internazionali d’Italia, beating France’s Arthur Rinderknech in two tight sets, both decided at the tie-break: 7-6(4), 7-6(4). In an atmosphere full of passion and cheers, the home favorite was able to impose himself with character and quality, confirming the good moment he is going through in the ATP circuit.
The match, played on the SuperTennis Arena, had a special flavor. The Roman audience supported its champion from the first to the last point, turning each exchange into a collective’experience. Gigante responded with a solid performance, showing maturity and cool-headedness in crucial moments. In the first set, he was able to emerge unscathed from six break points, despite a modest percentage of firsts on the court, and then imposed himself in the tie-break with authority. The second partial seemed to take a’different turn after the initial break suffered, but the Italian was able to fight back with determination, snatching service from the Frenchman just when the latter was serving to close out the set.
In the final tie-break, despite an initial mini-break in Rinderknech’s favor, Gigante kept his wits about him and took advantage of an error by his challenger to get right back into the match. A new mini-break in the sixth point paved the way to victory, sealed by a big, visibly moved cheer in the center of the court.
With this success, Gigante enters the second round where he will face Czech Jakub Mensik, the number 20 seed. Another difficult but fascinating challenge, which the Roman will face with a heart full of pride and the grit of someone who, at home, dreams big.
