Lazio-Udinese 1-1

The 28th day of Serie A ended with a draw between Lazio and Udinese. At the Stadio Olimpico, in fact, the biancocelesti were unable to go beyond the 1-1 draw against the Friulani, thus failing to take back the opportunity to regain the fourth place currently occupied by Juventus.

The first chance è for the guests on 4’: Kamara concludes from the distance finding in the trajectory Lucca, who by heel fails to deflect into the goal. The Friulans’ better start was repaid at 22’, with Lucca serving Thauvin, who wins a rebound and then concludes towards the goal finding an’excellent response from Provedel. On the rebound, the’former Ajax hits the ball badly, which returns to the feet of his French teammate who from two steps scores without any problems.

The joy for Udinese lasted very little, as only ten minutes later Lazio found the equalizing goal: Zaccagni beat the corner kick finding Vecino who extended on the second post for Romagnoli who slotted in Okoye. At the end of the half, it was again the guests who came close to scoring with Lucca, who from a counter-balance shot narrowly missed the goal defended by Provedel.

The resumption starts immediately with a thrill for Udinese: Noslin recovers a ball in the advanced area and puts it in the middle for Zaccagni, who is anticipated at the most beautiful by Kamara. After the round of changes, it was still the Capitolini who were dangerous with the former Verona who kicked powerfully, finding a good response from Okoye.

In 76’ è Runjaic’s team to go very close to the advantage goal: Zemura kicks the free kick over the barrier, but Provedel è good at deflecting it into the corner. On the corner taken in the middle, è Atta the first to pounce on the ball, but once again the biancoceleste extreme defender saves the result. In the final, the plays jumped, with both teams trying everything in search of the three points, but both failed to create dangerous actions.

The draw not only prevents Lazio from reclaiming fourth place at the expense of Juventus, but also allows sixth-placed Bologna to move to -1. Udinese, for its part, remains firmly in 10th place, reaching 40 points.

Bayern deserves Inter, super Gigio Donnarumma shuts up Liverpool

Published

No surprises for Inter, big emotions at Anfield.

Bayern Munich and Inter Milan will play each other in one of the quarterfinals of the Champions League, following the Bavarians’ victory in the German derby on the field of Bayer Leverkusen. Unsurprising result, given the result of the first leg, a different matter for what happened at Anfield: PSG eliminated Liverpool on penalties, with Gigio Donnarumma on the shields.

There were few shocks at the BayArena, where Bayer Leverkusen was called to the difficult task of recovering the 0-3 lost in the first leg in Munich. Nothing to do forò for the hosts, forced moreover to give up after 38 minutes to Mario Hermoso: right shoulder injury for the former Roma man. Then Kane at 52′ in a scrum and Davies at 71′ on a sumptuous assist by the former Tottenham signed Bayern’s success.

In Liverpool, on the other hand, the Reds took the field on the strength of a rather fortunate victory in Paris over a wild but inconclusive PSG. It took just 11 minutes for Dembelé to equalize the result of the first leg, in a game with roles reversed from what was seen in France: the hosts built several, clear-cut scoring chances (although they risked, particularly on a Kvaratskhelia free kick), but the goal did not come. And, when Szoboszlai finds it, è all in vain due to Luis Diaz’s offside.

Overtime also did not change the result, although it was PSG that built the best chances to win it. Penalty kicks are then taken care of by Donnarumma, who intercepts Darwin Nunez’s conversion and even grabs Jones’s. Everyone else scores, and Doue gives the Parisians the quarterfinal against Bruges or (much moreù probably) Aston Villa.

Simone Inzaghi extols his Inter: “I hear few compliments.”

The Champions goal continues, and the pride è so much.

Simone Inzaghi is enjoying his Inter Milan side in the Champions League quarterfinals, achieved by beating Feyenoord at the San Siro after also snatching victory in the first leg in Rotterdam. Now the next challenge in Europe will be against emblazoned Bayern Munich, and the Nerazzurri coach already looks forward to the crossroads with the Bavarians.

“We wanted so much to do well in the Champions League, and the boys have been great,” Inzaghi stressed to ‘Sky Sport’ -I keep praising them, but they deserve it for everything they are doing. Also because I hear very little praise around. This year forè è particularly difficult, and that is precisely why they deserve so many compliments”.

Inzaghi’s thoughts canò therefore already go to the next round: “It willà be difficult. I have already faced Bayern with both Lazio and Inter, and as always we will play it. We just hope to have everyone available, because right now we are a bit short. And for that very reason I am sorry for Asllani’s caution”.

So a broader discourse. “Tonight è it was my 200th game on the Inter bench, and I know what it means to coach this team. There have been many joys and some disappointments, but we will continue to honor every competition we are still entered”, è was Inzaghi’s promise.

McLaren armors Oscar Piastri: multi-year renewal for him

Published

Blinded one of the prized pieces of the grid.

Oscar Piastri and McLaren will continue their road together for a long time to come. The Australian driver was bound to the Woking team until the end of the 2026 championship, but his own stable announced on Tuesday that it had further extended the agreement with its bearer with a “multi-year” contract, although not specifying precisely the duration.

The announcement is not insignificant, because it removes from the square a driver who could have been a catch for many in late 2026. Without forgetting the precedent that Piastri himself already boasts, since in 2022 McLaren itself had managed to take him away from Alpine ahead of the 2023 season with a market flick that entered history. Also and especially taking into account the performance shown by the Australian in the last two seasons.

“Knowing that I will be in McLaren’s plans for a long time è a great feeling – è was Piastri’s warm comment -.When we signed in 2022 they showed me how much they believed in me, and what we have built in these two years è has been incredible. I am really proud to be able to represent such a&rave; legendary team for many more years”.

“So many people working at McLaren helped me win my first Grand Prix of my Formula 1 career very early on. Now I’m looking forward to fighting for ambitious goals for myself and the team. Last year we achieved fantastic results, now I have even more desire to do well&quot, concluded Piastri.
