Antonio Conte headed for the market

Speaking at a press conference to introduce the big match against Juventus, Antonio Conte also spoke about the soccer market: “Every market window can make you better and, if it won’t be now, it will be in June. We want to get back to Europe. Market windows are not only for the present, but also for the future, it means laying a foundation. Just think of the market two years ago, where a hundred million was spent and, in the end, everyone went out on loan: è itè important to spend money and, even more so, spend it well”.

“I repeat, every session è an opportunityè. If there will be any, è right that the club will decide. I came to Napoli to help in a time of difficulty, and we must always be constructive. Today we have a group that I am delighted with, I know that with them I can go to war; so if someone comes along, welcome, otherwise we will get over it: let’s work, shut up and pedal. But è a fact that, in the future, this roster will definitely have to be reinforced in an important way; if we manage to get into Europe to date we are few…”

On the match with the Bianconeri, who are 13 points behind the Azzurri in the standings: “We start from the fact that Juve è unbeaten, so all these demerits are not there. Clearly, some draws could have been victories, so it è created this gap; but let’s not forget that last year we are the ones who came about 20 points behind them, these things we quickly forget”.

“Juve è definitely a square team, with strong players. They make the Champions League, they made a very good market and we are talking about a top club to always have great respect for, like towards Milan and Inter. If you play those three teams you cannot hide, you have only one goal: to win” concluded Conte.

According to reports from Sky Sport, the player è expected in Manchester already on Thursday for medical examinations and contract signing with the Red Devils.

Soì, the Giallorossi management è already working to identify a replacement for Dorgu. In particular, according to information from the ‘Quotidiano di Puglia’, Lecce has reportedly set its sights on Tommaso Augello, class of 1994 whose contract with Cagliari expires at the end of the season.

Augello is liked by coach Giampaolo, who has already coached him in his Sampdoria days between January and October 2022. The 30-year-old left-sided flanker is finding little space with Nicola in the last period and could relaunch himself with the Giallorossi jersey.

In this first part of the season, with the Cagliari shirt, Augello has made 25 appearances between Serie A and Coppa Italia, making four assists.
