Hong Kong, good first for Lorenzo Musetti

Carrarese starts 2025 at its best
.
After a truly special 2024 full of great satisfaction, with, for example, even winning an Olympic medal in the singles event in Paris, Musetti is aiming for a 2025 as a genuine protagonist. The season’s debut è was definitely a positive one for the blue player engaged in the Hong Kong tournament.
Musetti, the number two seed in the men’s draw of the tournament, è won over Diallo in two sets (6-4, 6-3 the partials). Match well managed by the Italian who, in fact, never gave the Canadian a chance to put fear into him. Great changes of pace, excellent backhand and stinging serve, soì Musetti snatched the pass to the quarterfinals.
Musetti thus avenged the defeat suffered by Diallo in the 2023 Davis Cup (in Bologna). At this point, head already; to the next match. The Wimbledon 2024 semifinalist è awaited by the delicate confrontation with the Spaniard Munar, an opponent that should definitely be taken with caution.
The Spaniard ruled the Portuguese Borges in two sets (6-3, 7-5). It will serveà the best version of Musetti to continue the journey in Hong Kong and make this start of the season even more special. Musetti wants to get off to a great start and be a major player throughout 2025. The start è definitely comforting.

Serie A 2024-2025: Torino-Verona, the likely lineups
With the championship now devoid of concrete goals, all Torino has left to do is to hit the last symbolic milestone: mathematical salvation, only one point away. From there on, the goal will be to end the season in the best possible way, accumulating as many points as possible. At the Olimpico – Grande Torino, however, comes a hungry Verona, which, with only a 7-point margin over the relegation zone, needs a win to avoid nasty surprises, especially if Empoli should overcome Cagliari.
The granata are going through a good moment: they are unbeaten for five rounds and on the last day they snatched a heavy point at the Olimpico against Lazio. The Scaligeri are also living a positive moment, with two consecutive useful results: the external victory in Udine and the internal draw against Parma. All the ingredients for an intense challenge are there.
Probable lineups:
Torino probable lineup (4-2-3-1): Milinkovic; Walukiewicz, Coco, Maripan, Biraghi; Casadei, Ricci; Lazaro, Vlasic, Elmas; Adams. All. Vanoli.
Probable Verona lineup (3-5-2): Montipò; Ghilardi, Coppola, Valentini; Tchatchoua, Dawidowicz, Duda, Bernede, Bradaric; Mosquera, Sarr. All. Zanetti.
