Reyer Venezia, Neven Spahija smiles ahead of Trento
The words of Neven Spahija ahead of the challenge with Trent
.
In the first game of December, Reyer Venezia will be engaged in an away game in Trento, scheduled Sunday December 3 at 18.15 at “The T Daily Arena”.
In recent LBA seasons Trento and Reyer have faced each other numerous times, starting with the 2014/15 season. In fact, there are 34 total confrontations between regular season, playoffs and Supercoppa, Umana è ahead in the previous 20-14. Umana Reyer comes to Trento from first in the standings with 14 points (7-2), along with Virtus Bologna, Brescia and Napoli, while the hosts follow just one game behind with 12 points (6-3).
It will also be the challenge between the two captains: Totò Forray, in his 14th season with l’Aquila and first ever for club appearances, and Andrea De Nicolao, in his seventh year in orogranata where è second to only Michael Bramos (undisputed protagonist of the challenges with Trento) for games played in Reyer.
Paul Biligha è the only former among the players while Lele Molin returns to Trento for the first time as an opponent after six seasons lived on the bench of Dolomiti Energia Trentino.
Coach Neven Spahija spoke this way in the press conference ahead of the challenge against the Bianconeri: “È another very important game. Trento plays very well, I like their style of play and they are finding good results. We play away from home that è always complicated, forò after a long time we are all together. Today we had our first full practice and we hope to continue to be so that we can improve”.

US Open, Alexander Zverev also out: Jannik Sinner thanks.
All-U.S. semifinal at US Open
Another big man exits the tournament. After the various Alcaraz and Djokovic, Zverev è is also no longer in the running at the US Open. The German è was beaten by Fritz in four sets (7-6 (2) 3-6 6-4 7-6), at the end of a match that è lasted almost three and a half hours. A defeat that leaves a lot of bitterness in Zverev’s mouth. The German was aiming to reach at least the final.
A feat for the American who, dragged by the home crowd, won the first semifinal of a Slam event. After winning the first set on tie-break, Fritz suffered the return of Zverev, who took home the second partial with a peremptory 6-3. The momentum seemed to be in the German’s hands but Fritz escaped on 3-0. Zverev recovers but gives up at the più beautiful. Spectacular fourth set. Zverev tries everything but, once again, the tie-break costs him dearly. He loses it 7-3 and says goodbye to the tournament.
Dreams big for Fritz who, in the semifinals, will face the other American Tiafoe who, in the quarterfinals, wins the match with Dimitrov, forced to retire in the fourth set due to a physical problem: 6-3, 6-7, 6-3, 4-1 the partials in favor of Tiafoe.
The United States dreams, after 21 years (Roddick, 2003), of an American winning the U.S. Open. In the meantime, it enjoys Sinner who, thanks to Zverev è’s knockout; increasingly serene in his comfortable position as world No. 1.
