After almost being sold to Napoli in January, comes the official renewal for Pietro Comuzzo. Fiorentina, in fact, announced on its institutional channels that it has extended the player&#8217s contract until 2029, with a team option for another season.

“ACF Fiorentina announces that footballer Pietro Comuzzo has renewed his contract with the purple club until 2029 with an option, in favor of Fiorentina, until 2030.

Comuzzo, who grew up in the lily Youth Sector, made his debut in Serie A with the Fiorentina jersey when he was only 18 years old in October 2023 and, since then, has collected 48 appearances between Serie A, Conference League and Coppa Italia, reaching, even, the convocation with the Italian senior national team” this is the note issued by the purple club.

“I am overjoyed to have renewed with this club until 2029 and in fact I thank Fiorentina and the directors for trusting me. The renewal has an important meaning because it comes from a season in which I started playing a little bit more and so I see it as an award, a recognition. Florence is a city that welcomed me as a child, saw me grow and is making me grow even more. In the long run, it would be great to win something with this jersey, it would be an incredible thrill. I learn the winning mentality of De Gea and Gosens who have important experiences and I draw positive lessons from them, they help me grow” these are the words of Pietro Comuzzo to the official channels of the Viola.

Oscar Piastri knows what to expect in Imola

These were the words given in a press conference by the McLaren driver Oscar Piastri on the eve of the start of the weekend at Imola, where the Australian will try to score his fourth consecutive victory and attempt his first mini-escape in the drivers world championship.

“We had been looking optimistically at Miami since the start of the season, we thought the conditions would enhance our strengths and they did. I don&#8217t know if it will be possible to repeat in Imola. The track is totally different, extremely fast, it will be colder and the asphalt is definitely more uneven. I expect that the opponents will be much closer. We have the characteristics to win again, but we will also have to do things perfectly in qualifying, where we were beaten in Miami” began the McLaren driver.

“I don’t want to give too much weight to the current lead in the standings over Lando, as it is at the end of the season that I hope to be ahead of everyone in the standings. The competition outside McLaren is an incentive, but being the better car is also an advantage, and Norris and I look forward to being able to beat each other to win. And I think that will be the case throughout the rest of the season. One of my favorite tracks is actually Imola, however with so many nations coming forward it would be foolish to have two races in the same place. D’on the other hand there&#8217s Monza in Italy, and in general you should not neglect the’history aspect” added the world drivers&#8221 leader.

“Receiving the Bandini Trophy was very nice. Beautiful was especially the great passion of the Italian fans. I also met people who are distantly related to my family and it was a very special moment. I feel it as another home race. I am enjoying the success, but most of all the work to achieve this. Winning with such a car is extremely satisfying” concluded Oscar Piastri.

After a comeback second place finish in the Miami GP, Lando Norris will try to start the European tour on the right foot as early as the first round in Imola. Speaking at a press conference at the microphones of “Sky Sport F1″, the driver of the McLaren, among the various topics covered, dwelt on the details to be improved to contend world championship leadership to teammate Oscar Piastri.

“I think, at the moment, qualifying is the main aspect I need to improve on. My race pace has been strong since the first day of testing, but my dry lap performance is not in the level where it should be. Obviously, we are talking about a few tenths that make a difference” began the British rider.

“Hopefully we will have the same pace we had in Miami, that would make my life easier. Miami went very well, but now we have an equally difficult weekend ahead, but it would be a nice surprise if things were easier than expected” added Lando Norris.

After six GPs, McLaren firmly occupies first place in the constructors’ championship. In addition, the two drivers also command the drivers’ standings with Piastri 16 lengths ahead of his teammate.
