The conclusion of the Clostebol case, with the agreement between Jannik Sinner and Wada that led to the South Tyrolean player&#39s three-month suspension from competitions, continues to stir the tennis world: among the players who have openly sided with the current world No. 1 is one of his on-court rivals, Norway&#39s Casper Ruud.

On the sidelines of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown stage held in the past few days in Guadalajara, Mexico, “The Ice Man” (as he è enrolled in the particular international tournament) not only empathized with Sinner, but also prophesied a comeback in a big way. “I know Jannik very well and am on his side” he said.

The case-Clostebol è ended early Saturday morning with the officialization of the agreement between Jannik Sinner and Wada, the World Anti-Doping Agency, which resulted in a three-month disqualification and the final closure of the case. The South Tyrolean champion will return to competition in time for the Internazionali d’Italia and Roland Garros, top events in late spring.
