The words of Patrick Vieira

These are the statements made in the press conference by Genoa coach Patrick Vieira a few days before the home match against Torino, valid for the 15th day of the championship.

“We have picked up four points in the last two games. We have done well in terms of play, but there’s still a lot to work on. We can do better in ball handling and also defensively. I am happy with what I saw on the field, but I demand more from the players both in training and in the game” began the Rossobl&ugrave coach.

“Torino is experiencing a moment of difficultyà but it canò count on strong and quality players. It’s a team that works well. We are in a positive period, the players are in confidence and the fans are making us feel all their support. We have to focus on how well we have done in these last few outings. The team è is growing, we have to believe in our work, continue to do well and make an extra effort to find victory at home” added the former Nice coach.

“I know the players better, this è for sure. It’s a group that wants to be a team to win games. Everyone wants to play and that è important for me as a coach because I am called upon to make tough choices. The quality; in this group I think has always been there. Then it is the boys who take the field. When the group è united even the individuals are able to show their talent. I am happy with the mentalityà that this team has shown” concluded Patrick Vieira.
