ATP Finals: Jannik Sinner doesn’t hide: “With Fritz, I will have to raise the bar.”
The words of Jannik Sinner
Always striving for perfection, otherwise you wouldn’t get to the world’s No. 1. Jannik Sinner è so è he is not satisfied with a victory that against Alex de Minaur è has now become routine (8 out of 8, Alex è Alex è the ’mostù opponent beaten in Jannik’s career) although “every match with him è different” says Jannik in the conference. “De Minaur è a great fighter, you have to look not only at the result but also at how the match goes”, Sinner explains.
“I am happy anyway with how’è it went, I had not played an official match for 4 weeks. “I am proud that I was able to play at this level in my debut here in Turin”. On Tuesday evening, at 8:30 p.m., Sinner will challenge Taylor Fritz in a match that can already prove decisive for the passage of the round: if Jannik beats the American and De Minaur wins against Medvedev, Sinner would be certain of the first place in the round already on the second day. “Fritz è improved so much in the last two years. He serves much better, hits really hard and è a great fighter. He played a great match against Medvedev, we faced each other earlier in the week: è it was a tough practice, I know he will have to raise his level to beat him”.
Finally, space for a curious backstory on the change of social media manager: “From this week there’è a person who helps us, è very good and è an expert in these things but above all è very easygoing, he understands how our group also because’è from our parts”. Just one more ingredient for the perfect Jannik recipe.

Simone Inzaghi responds to Antonio Conte
Inzaghi’s words
Simone Inzaghi spoke in his press conference after the 1-1 draw against Napoli: “We played a great match, the boys did so well. I congratulated them, we played an intense match against a strong opponent, who showed it again tonight. We went on a crescendo, we didn't concede anything, we came back on the draw and then in the second half we went into total domination. I as a coach have to separate the result from the performance and, considering what we spent on Wednesday against Arsenal, I congratulate the team”.
” We need to keep the continuity” of the last ten games, because” eight wins and two draws…. In these 16 games we missed one and lost it, the others were done well and the guys did well, because we didn't have deep rotations. Tonight’s game gives me a lot of comfort”.
Closing with a response to Conte, angry about the refereeing: “I have nothing to comment, I think Antonio spoke for himself. Sometimes you have, sometimes you take away: we all have to try to give a hand to these referees, me first. When I got the caution, it can happen that a referee can make a mistake and we all have to give him a hand. These are all intense matches, decided by episodes and we have to try to give a hand to the referees”.

Var, Antonio Conte unleashed on Mr. Marelli: “Say what you want.”
The words of Antonio Conte
Antonio Conte è went wild at DAZN microphones after the 1-1 draw against Inter Milan, talking about the penalty (later missed by Calhanoglu) given to the Nerazzurri for Zambo Anguissa’s foul on Dumfries.
“Excuse me, but what does it mean that VAR can’t intervene, if there’s a mistake? What does it mean? When it suits them they intervene, when it doesn't suit them they don't intervene? Let me understand. A referee’s decision can change a game. If there’è an error the VAR must intervene, period!”.
“This è something that really pisses off, but I don't think just me, all coaches! Mr. Marelli can è say what he wants, but logically VAR has to correct mistakes or point out situations not seen by the referee. This è a glaring error that can affect the game! If there’s an error, VAR intervenes, period, but the referee has to go and see what happens! Otherwise, backtracking is created. If there’è a mistake, the VAR corrects, period. Soì you also make the referee’s figure of caca.a less.
Luca Marelli, DAZN moviolist, in response tried to explain that VAR does not è a moviola on the field.
