Udinese doesn’t stop any longer: Como ko, is in the group of the first ones
There’è a pair of black-and-whites at the top of the table.
Udinese still victorious, against a Como side that can only eat its hands and remains last in the Serie A standings with only one point (cohabiting with Venezia). Ahead of them all, however, are the Bianconeri themselves, who, thanks to the 1-0 home win, move up to 7 together with Inter, Juventus and Torino. Brenner's goal was decisive, but also the penalty of the possible equalizer that Patrick Cutrone sent wide in full recovery.
And to say that Como had started the match better, with Belotti particularly mobile if ineffective. Cutrone and Strefezza also created pitfalls, but the result did not change. After a save by Okoye on Cutrone and a bad mistake by Da Cunha, Karlstrom built the first chance for Udinese. Which, at 43′, goes through: Ehizibue finds space on the right and crosses for Brenner who in acrobatics mocks Reina.
Immediately the blow, even before halftime Strefezza goes within a step of equalizing. In the resumption Belotti and Cutrone come back to try, Da Cunha engages Okoye who also overcomes on Kempf. Udinese closed in and tried to hurt Como especially on the counterattack, then Fabregas changed five and Paz nearly rewarded his confidence.
The theme remains the same even in the final: Ehizibue builds with a restart the ball of the possible doubling, Kempf and Gabrielloni look for the equalizer. Then comes the penalty, for a hand in the box by Payero confirmed by the Var check. On the spot comes Cutrone, who sends Okoye to one side but the ball out. And after an endless recovery Udinese celebrates, but Como can only take it on themselves.

US Open, Alexander Zverev also out: Jannik Sinner thanks.
All-U.S. semifinal at US Open
Another big man exits the tournament. After the various Alcaraz and Djokovic, Zverev è is also no longer in the running at the US Open. The German è was beaten by Fritz in four sets (7-6 (2) 3-6 6-4 7-6), at the end of a match that è lasted almost three and a half hours. A defeat that leaves a lot of bitterness in Zverev’s mouth. The German was aiming to reach at least the final.
A feat for the American who, dragged by the home crowd, won the first semifinal of a Slam event. After winning the first set on tie-break, Fritz suffered the return of Zverev, who took home the second partial with a peremptory 6-3. The momentum seemed to be in the German’s hands but Fritz escaped on 3-0. Zverev recovers but gives up at the più beautiful. Spectacular fourth set. Zverev tries everything but, once again, the tie-break costs him dearly. He loses it 7-3 and says goodbye to the tournament.
Dreams big for Fritz who, in the semifinals, will face the other American Tiafoe who, in the quarterfinals, wins the match with Dimitrov, forced to retire in the fourth set due to a physical problem: 6-3, 6-7, 6-3, 4-1 the partials in favor of Tiafoe.
The United States dreams, after 21 years (Roddick, 2003), of an American winning the U.S. Open. In the meantime, it enjoys Sinner who, thanks to Zverev è’s knockout; increasingly serene in his comfortable position as world No. 1.
