Frederic Vasseur shows the way to Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton

Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur spoke after the Japanese GP: “We are on average three tenths from the fastest. This was the result in qualifying and in the race. We can and must do better, but the picture is quite clear”.
“On this track, the difference between medium and hard was not substantial, so Lewis Hamilton in the end did not run very dissimilar with the two sets of tires”.
“Our priority is to work on balancing the car, because we are convinced of the potential of the SF-25. Once a foundation is established, it will make sense to talk about upgrades, from which we should not expect the moon, as others will also bring. We have to progress with the package we have available”.

Serie A 2024-2025: Inter-Cagliari, the likely lineups

L’Inter hosts Cagliari in the 32nd day of Serie A. Kickoff at 6 p.m. at the Meazza. After the draw with Parma, the Nerazzurri want to return to success to consolidate the first position in the standings, while the Rossoblù, fresh from the draw with Empoli’Empoli, are +6 on the relegation zone.
Inzaghi assesses some rotations: Mkhitaryan and Darmian could make way from the 1′ for Frattesi and Zalewski, while in defense Acerbi is set to rest with De Vrij ready to lead the backline. Dimarco, improving markedly, is a candidate for a starting shirt with possible relay in progress with Carlos Augusto. In attack, Thuram is likely to be rested: Arnautovic is pawing at starting from the first minute, while Correa and the re-established Taremi
are ready from the bench.
Nicola ponders possible changes in the rearguard: Palomino is challenging Zappa for a place in the defensive trio. In the middle of the field Makoumbou could act in the control booth, but much will depend on the condition of Prati, slowed in recent days by a flu attack. On the outside lanes, space will be given to Augello and Zortea, while forward Luvumbo and Viola will be called upon to support central forward Piccoli.
Probable lineups
Inter (3-5-2): Sommer; Pavard, De Vrij, Bastoni; Zalewski, Barella, Calhanoglu, Frattesi, Dimarco; Arnautovic, Lautaro Martinez. All. Inzaghi
Cagliari (3-4-2-1): Caprile; Zappa, Mina, Luperto; Zortea, Adopo, Prati, Augello; Viola, Luvumbo; Piccoli. All. Nicola

Jannik Sinner-Federica Pellegrini storm: new outburst on social media
Federica Pellegrini does not regret at all her words on the Jannik Sinner case: the’former Italian swimmer had declared that the South Tyrolean tennis player had been treated differently than other athletes found positive in doping controls. Her opinion drew criticism from media and fans, but the Olympic champion pulled straight by responding to all with a post on X.
“I remain of my calm opinion: despite the fact that you continue to be aggressive/repressive in the way you pose towards me. I have nothing more to add”, is the post of the’Azure, immediately targeted by hundreds of fans of the world number one.
In an interview with La Repubblica, Pellegrini had put it this way: “It’s right to defend Sinner, but he was treated differently than in all the other cases because so many have paid for negligence in the use of a drug: it’s right because this is how doping is fought. Jannik is well-liked and therefore he is defended in every respect, no matter what, and I find that fair. But I think his case has been treated differently from 99 percent of cases”.
“As for strict liability with respect to the team, it must be said that it is not that if my physical therapist drinks a beer and runs someone over it is my fault, but it becomes my responsibility if the physical therapist uses a cream on me and then I test positive. It applies to everyone, it is not the Sinner case that is strange”.

Stephane Simian: “Jannik Sinner will continue to be No. 1”
Monte Carlo is a place suspended in time, which manages to modernize itself more and more every day, while sinking its solid roots within solid traditions that form its foundation. The Monte-Carlo Country Club is the epitome of this, a place where tradition is breathed in, while still updating year after year. One of the traditions of this place is the convivial time
organized by the tournament’s main sponsor, Rolex, which at each edition, invites to a meeting the journalists who cover the event, to tell about this modernity and associate it with the players who most characterize its brand strength.
How not to talk in this sense about Alcaraz and Sinner, two of the most important ambassadors of the brand? We did so with Stephane Simian former world number 41 in singles and now representative of the Geneva-based house: “We are very happy to have two representatives like Alcaraz and Sinner, two players who embody the class and style that are the basis of our idea, of the values we want to spread”.
Impossible not to ask him, as a former colleague, how Sinner can come back after such a long period of inactivity: “I think this period has done him good. He will certainly have worked on his physique to get back to his best when he is called upon to return to 100 percent. I have no doubt in my mind that he will resume the path that was interrupted, continuing to be number 1 in the world, not only on paper, but also with performance on the court. In this sense, the sporting rivalry with Alcaraz can only be good for him, because it pushes both of them to raise the level of competition, in a continuous confrontation that all tennis lovers are happy to see”.
