Lewis Hamilton doesn’t hold back enthusiasm: ‘Great days at Ferrari’
The balance after the tests è largely positive.
Lewis Hamilton extols Ferrari at the end of the three-day test held in Bahrain, although the results on the track have yet to be widely evaluated in comparison with the competition and beyond. The British champion’s first impact with the Maranello team, however, looks decidedly good.
“Overall it has been a fantastic few days. As a team we have made enormous progress,” Hamilton explained.
Today (Friday, ed.) we had to stop a bit earlier than planned because of the weather, which è has been a complex variable throughout the week. But testing can also go like this, it happens”.
“The important thing è that we gathered a lot of useful information to work with before the start of the championship. The whole Ferrari team has done an incredible job. Hamilton’s Friday in Bahrain, which would have included four hours of work on the track, è actually lasted just over three and ended with a sixth place in the final standings (fastest è turned out to be George Russell ahead of Max Verstappen, ninth Charles Leclerc). Ferrari, however, said it focused on balance and set-up rather than on the dry lap, which is why judgments on the SF-25 will have to come more in lù in là.
