Zak Brown warns Red Bull and Ferrari

Somewhat by surprise, McLaren opened the new Formula 1 season. The Woking-based team, in fact, è was the first to unveil the new single-seater (MCL39), which took to the track at Silverstone and will be at the start in the next F1 World Championship.

“Today è a big milestone in our journey towards World 2025 – said CEO Zack Brown -. &It&is&great&to&take&on&the&track&for&the&first&time MCL39,&the&c culmination&of&the&team&s&hard&work. We have to be realistic, every team has made progress over the winter. Last year highlighted how much the gaps on the grid had narrowed, which è a positive thing for the sport”.

“We believe we have made further strides ahead of the MCL38 that won the championship, but we won’t know what our position will be in relation to the others until qualifying in Australia. We are a team that never stops racing and will give our all to bring both championships back to Woking”.

“We are excited to see the MCL39 take to the track for the first time,” added team principal Andrea Stella -. Although last year we ended the season as constructors’ champions, it was a very balanced World Championship and so it will be again this year. We have to stay focused to compete at our best. It&#39s going to be an exciting but incredibly challenging year. The team has worked hard and we have learned a lot from last year’s challenges, we will treasure them to achieve our goals”.

Marc Marquez no longer wants to make mistakes and heralds change

Published

Marc Marquez knows he is dominating this year but he has also made several heavy mistakes: “They are my weakness, I will try to handle everything differently, but I made them all on Sunday and I have to avoid them if I want to fight for the championship. I will have to think about the races where I didn”t score points.

In Aragon he will be the favorite: “Dominating here like last year will be difficult since it was raining, it will be a faster weekend, with a more rubberized track and therefore more difficult. In Silverstone I wanted to defend the points lead, here I will try to fight for the victory. My feelings compared to last Gp are better”.

In the press conference Marco Bezzecchi, winner at Silverstone, also spoke: “It was great, I missed the podium. The bike gives very good sensations, I can&#8217t wait to start again here and try to be competitive. We made a lot of steps forward, because we were also in Jerez and Le Mans but I made some mistakes. It might be difficult to repeat, but we want to be continuous”.
