Portsmouth, 21st in the standings and with only a one-point margin over the relegation zone, seeks redemption after the heavy 5-1 loss to West Bromwich. Pompey, in a results crisis, face in the recovery of the 17th day of the Championship a Millwall reinvigorated by the victory over Luton, which broke a six-match winless streak. With different goals but similar urgencies, both teams aim to score heavy points in a challenge that promises battle. Kickoff at Fratton Park at 8:45 p.m.
The hosts are banking on a 4-2-3-1 with Bishop as the offensive reference, supported by Lang, Ritchie and Murphy. In the midfield Hayden and Potts provide balance, while the defense led by Pack and Atkinson seeks solidity after the recent knockout.
