The challenge è scheduled for Monday, Jan. 27 at the Ezio Scida Stadium, with kickoff at 20:30. The match between Crotone and Picerno, valid for the 24th day of Serie C (round C) and the fifth of the return leg, promises excitement and valuable points up for grabs.
In Crotone è enthusiasm is back for a team that shines especially on the road, where è has been undefeated for 10 matches with 6 wins and 4 draws. However, at Scida success has been missing since Nov. 24. Mister Longo will have; almost the entire squad at his disposal, with the exception of Vinicius. The only change from the Messina victory will be the return of Cargnelutti in defense, flanked by Di Pasquale.
Picerno comes from three consecutive useful results: two home draws against Trapani and Catania and an external victory in Caserta, after two defeats in a row with Foggia and Avellino. Tomei’s men, currently eighth with 33 points, aim to come out of the Scida unscathed to stay in the playoff zone. Some doubts remain for the challenge against Crotone: ballots in defense between Allegretto and Nicoletti, and in midfield between Maselli and De Ciancio. Forward, Bernardotto will be supported by Energe, Maiorino and Esposito.
