He had already reached the second round of a Slam at the last US Open

.

In Melbourne, in the path of Jannik Sinner, there’s now Tristan Schoolkate. The 24-year-old Australian overcame Taro Daniel in the first round, earning him the chance to face the world No. 1 in what, on balance, will be the most important match of his entire career.

The native of Perth, Australia, became è passionate about tennis thanks to his father, an esteemed tennis teacher. At a very young age, he seemed destined for a major career but, to date, has fallen short of high expectations. Data in hand, he has won only two matches on the ATP circuit and, at present, è number 173 in the world.

His game è purely offensive. He figured it out, late, Taro Daniel, defeated by Tristan Schoolkate in the first round (6-7, 7-6, 6-1, 6-4 the match partials). Interestingly, even at the last US Open, another Slam in which he è landed in the second round, he had beaten Taro Daniel himself in his debut match in the tournament.

On paper, Jannik Sinner should have no problem getting rid of Australia&#39s Tristan Schoolkate, who entered the men&#39s draw thanks to a wild card. The match between the two è scheduled for Thursday morning no earlier than 9 a.m. For Tristan Schoolkate it will be a match to remember forever, no matter how it turns out.

Marc Marquez no longer wants to make mistakes and heralds change

Marc Marquez knows he is dominating this year but he has also made several heavy mistakes: “They are my weakness, I will try to handle everything differently, but I made them all on Sunday and I have to avoid them if I want to fight for the championship. I will have to think about the races where I didn”t score points.

In Aragon he will be the favorite: “Dominating here like last year will be difficult since it was raining, it will be a faster weekend, with a more rubberized track and therefore more difficult. In Silverstone I wanted to defend the points lead, here I will try to fight for the victory. My feelings compared to last Gp are better”.

In the press conference Marco Bezzecchi, winner at Silverstone, also spoke: “It was great, I missed the podium. The bike gives very good sensations, I can&#8217t wait to start again here and try to be competitive. We made a lot of steps forward, because we were also in Jerez and Le Mans but I made some mistakes. It might be difficult to repeat, but we want to be continuous”.
