Milan-Rashford, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s thoughts.
The Diavolo is aiming for a loan without the right of redemption
Milan wants to strengthen its squad. The first goal è is to look for a quality striker. Although the Leipzig-Okafor deal has not yet reached the classic white smoke, the Rossoneri are pushing to find an agreement with Manchester United for Rashford.
The striker is not shining in the Red Devils shirt (seven goals in 23 total appearances) but at Milan they are confident of his talent and believe he can reignite in an environment like the Rossoneri. The Diavolo are aiming to have Rashford on a dry loan, with no right of redemption. An option that Manchester United would be considering very carefully.
Meanwhile, Rossoneri manager Ibrahimovic explained well the qualities of Rashford, his former teammate in the days when the Swede played at Manchester United: “I played with him when he was young, today è more of a man. He was already strong back then. He can play right, center, left. He does all positions”, his clear words to DAZN.
Obviously, the market operation in question is not è at all simple. As Ibrahimovic confirmed, AC Milan has not yet spoken directly with the English striker. First there is to find the agreement with Manchester United and, at the same time, close the sale of Okafor. In short, Rashford is not è yet very close to Milan.

Danilo Gallinari is charged up: ‘I still have the touch’
Very complicated his return to Milan
On his official Instagram profile, the Rooster posted a video in which he practices shooting, scoring with extreme ease. “I still have the touch”, he writes, as if to remind everyone that despite the 36 springs on his shoulders and the many injuries, there are not many players around with his class.
Gallinari has no intention of retiring. He feels he can still make a valuable contribution. Euro 2025 is not è around the corner but it could still interest him closely, especially if he returns to continuous play. National team coach Pozzecco knows perfectly well the Gallo’s qualities and how useful he could be.
However, first è it is crucial to find the right team for the last ball. Blue is always hoping for a call from some NBA team. His 16 seasons in the United States cannot be forgotten by everyone. Or, the unwinnable offer to return to play in Europe, perhaps in Italy where he has been missing since his months in an Olimpia jersey back in 2011 (NBA lockout).
The feeling è that a return of him to Milan is complicated. Coach Messina knows him well, but he is also working, hard, to give a clear identity to his team. It would not be easy to insert someone like Gallinari. On the other hand, a talent like the Rooster is entitled to one last chance, perhaps to win a trophy, his first trophy. To date, in fact, the palmares è empty, though certainly not a determining factor in judging his class.

Australian Open, rain spoils Jannik Sinner’s plans
The Blue is preparing for its debut with Nicolas Jarry
A setback forced Jannik Sinner to change his training schedule. Complicated by the heavy rain that è fell on Melbourne (a real downpour), the world number 1 team had to revise its plans.
When he was about to begin his personal training on court 17, lo and behold, Jannik Sinner had to move to the National Tennis Center, then indoors, in order to hold his session. He wasn’t the only one who had to train on the center’s indoor courts. Other tennis players, including Carlos Alcaraz and Nole Djokovic, also had to do the same.
Despite this setback, Jannik Sinner’s preparation continues at its best. After winning both exhibition matches against Alexei Popyrin and Stefano Tsitsipas (without conceding a single set to his opponents), the world No. 1 è is focused on his tournament debut, scheduled for Sunday night and Monday night against Nicolas Jarry (the match is expected to start around 4:00 a.m. Italian time).
The previous record with the Chilean tennis player is in perfect parity (1-1) but Nicolas Jarry’s victory dates back to 2019 when Jannik Sinner was still at the beginning of his astonishing climb to the throne of world tennis. The last confrontation between the two è was staged at the China Open last September with the Italian winning in three sets (4-6, 6-3, 6-1).

Delayed three games: Lakers-Spurs, Clippers-Hornets and Hawks-Rockets

Triple-double by Cunningham, who ended the match with 22 points, 17 assists and 10 rebounds. Coming off the bench, Fontecchio put up nine points in 15 minutes of play. Thanks to this win, the Pistons have a record above 15 percent (20-19).
Rounded success of Phoenix, which wins over Utah 114-106. Game always well handled by the Suns, who win their third game in their last four outings. Booker’s talent shines (34 total points). Extraordinary challenge Minnesota-Memphis, won by the T-Wolves in a sprint (127-125 the final).
Making the difference, in the frantic finish, was Morant with two fantasy baskets (12 total points on the scoreboard). Stecca Edwards who misses two triples that could have been worth the victory. Of note was the excellent performance, among the Memphis ranks, of Jackson Jr.: 33 points, with also eight rebounds on the scoreboard.
Third consecutive success of Miami that wins the match with Portland (119-98 the final). The Heat thanked Herro (32 points, with as many as seven triples on the scoreboard). As many as three contests were postponed, namely Lakers-Spurs, Clippers-Hornets and Hawks-Rockets. The first two for the fires that are affecting the city of Los Angeles. The third for the nefarious weather in Atlanta.
