NBA, OKC beats Boston and makes it 15 wins in a row
Also good for the Cavs, on their 10th success in a row
Lots of excitement on NBA night. Show of strength by OKC that imposes itself in the big match with Boston (105-92), winning its 15th consecutive victory (30-5 the Thunder’s record). Usual great performance by Gilgeous-Alexander, who finished with an impressive 33 points on the scoreboard (also 11 rebounds and six assists). On the other side, Tatum's 26 points were not enough.
Nice success of New Orleans that gets rid of Washington (110-98 the final). Good McCollum (25 points). Cleveland also smiles as it overcomes Charlotte (115-105) to string together its 10th consecutive victory (31-4 record for the Cavs). Remarkable performance by Garland who ends the game with 25 points. In the Hornets’ house, 24 points apiece from Miller and LaMelo Ball were not enough.
Another weighty win by Utah, which managed to get the better of its challenge with Orlando (105-92, 20 points by Sexton). In contrast, the defeat of the LA Lakers, who surrendered to Houston (119-115 the final), is news. Green led the way: 33 points with five triples on the scoreboard.
In the Yellow Jacket, James finished with 21 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists). Davis makes 30 but, in the final game, the Rockets are decidedly cooler. The Warriors also fall sharply, swept by the Kings (129-99). Sabonis shines (22 points and 13 rebounds). The returning Curry puts up 26 with 8/12 shooting.

Juventus, new name pops up for defense
The idea would be to have the Blaugrana defender on loan
Giuntoli è activated. As reiterated on several occasions, the Bianconeri top executive è looking for at least one defender, so as to implement the back pack available to Thiago Motta. The injuries to Bremer and Cabal, oblige Giuntoli to look for a new defender and, possibly, to do so rather quickly.
There are many names on Giuntoli’s notebook. Hancko remains the hottest name, although Feyenoord is trying to make a wall. There would also be Antonio Silva but Benfica wants a monster sum to let him go. Tomori seems impossible (Conceiçao considers him important for his project), as well as Skriniar (moreù easy for him to settle at Napoli).
Hence a new, rather peculiar idea from Giuntoli himself, who, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, is reportedly thinking about Araujo, a Uruguayan defender on loan from Barcelona. Class of 1999, he wears the blaugrana jersey from 2019.
This summer he suffered a bad injury in the Copa America and, in fact, è recently returned to availability. At Barcelona he seems closed to other profiles, so he might even consider moving to Turin, Juventus side. Giuntoli would like him on loan. At the moment, Barcelona would not be willing to consider the matter, partly because he is currently focused on the Dani Olmo case.

Jannik Sinner: two matches to find the right form
The Australian Open begins on January 12
.
It’s on. Jannik Sinner is warming up his engines ahead of the first Slam of the season. Next Jan. 12, the Australian Open begins (main draw draw on Thursday) with Jannik Sinner intent on repeating last season’s success.
L’azzurro, already in Melbourne for a few days, has been training hard to find the right physical and mental condition. After sharing the practice court with several colleagues (including Cruz Hewitt and Stan Wawrinka), the world No. 1 is ready for the two matches scheduled as part of the Australian Open Opening Weekend, a charity event.
On Tuesday (7 a.m. Italian time), Jannik Sinner will challenge Alexei Popyrin. A davevro intriguing exhibition match for the Italian who, in addition to testing his current state of form, will also have a chance to avenge the defeat suffered by the Australian tennis player in 2021 at the Madrid tournament on clay (the only previous one between the two tennis players).
Then, exactly on January 10, the’other exhibition match, this time against the proven Stephen Tsitsipas. The Greek, winner of the ATP Finals in 2019, will be an intriguing opponent for Jannik Sinner. The feeling è that, gradually, the world No. 1 is starting to rev up his engine, so that he will appear at the start of the Australian Open in top condition.

Inter, blunt attack pair to beat Milan
The final of the Italian Super Cup è scheduled at 20:00
.
Today, starting at 8 p.m., the Italian Super Cup final is staged in Riyadh. Inter and Milan will play for the first trophy of the season. The Nerazzurri, winners of the last three editions, are aiming for their ninth Italian Super Cup, soì as to equal Juventus’ record. Milan, should they win it, would rise to eight overall successes (the last in 2016).
Inzaghi has some problems in attack. No Thu-La. Thuram è in the box, as well as Correa. As a result, against the Rossoneri, the attacking pair will be formed by Lautaro Martinez and Taremi. The two have often played together in the Champions League but, to be fair, they are not going through a great period, especially in terms of achievements.
The Inter’s captain has been clear about his moment, explaining how it is the worst of his career. He is struggling enormously to find the way of the goal (“only” seven goals in the season) but, like the great champion that he is, he continues to try his best, trying to make himself useful for his teammates.
Taremi, on the other hand, è stopped at the only goal scored with the Nerazzurri jersey in the Champions League match with Red Star (on a penalty kick). His performance is good but the goal is not coming. For someone used to scoring a lot in the Porto jersey, it è not at all easy as a situation. Inzaghi hopes that they can unlock just against Milan for another dream night for the Nerazzurri colors.
