Anna Kalinskaya has found the perfect partner

Good success, in the semifinals, over the Babos-Melichar duo
Anna Kalinskaya begins 2025 by winning the women’s doubles final at the Australian tournament in Brisbane. After having little luck in the singles (beaten by Ashlyn Kruger in her debut match), the Russian tennis player is instead thrilling in the doubles.
The fellowship with partner Priscilla Hon is going great. This is confirmed by the results. On the night, they challenged and won the match against the Bados-Melichar pair, beaten in two sets (6-1, 7-5 the two match partials).
Anna Kalinskaya and Priscilla Hon were absolutely perfect in the first set in which they dominated, conceding only one game to their opponents and showing a special fellowship. In the second set, they did well to handle the vehement reaction of their opponents and take home the pass for the very final.
The audience, of course, è all on the side of the Kalinskaya-Hon duo sinceé Priscilla Hon è Australian, so they play practically at home. At this point, the goal è to take home the trophy as well. For 26-year-old Anna Kalinskaya, it would be the fourth of her doubles career. The last one came about three years ago when she and Caty McNally won the St. Petersburg tournament. While waiting for the first singles success, it would not hurt at all to start the new season with a doubles victory.

Contestation in Milan: “Go to work” and “Yankee go home”

Milan challenged: “Go to work”.
In spite of winning the Italian Super Cup, it certainly cannot be considered positive Milan’s year.
The Rossoneri fans, disappointed with the’progress of the season, staged a hard protest at the Meazza match with Monza that closed the championship of the two Lombardy teams.
No banners displayed and choruses leaving little room for the’imagination: “To work, go to work”, “Are you leaving or not?” and “Yankee go home” among them. Hailed Paolo Maldini with an ad hoc chorus. After the vigorous protest, the Milan fans blatantly abandoned their seats in the stands, leaving a vast and visible hole in the heart of the Curva Sud.
Very few biancorossi fans also showed up for the ’appointment at the ‘Scala del Calcio’: Alessandro Nesta’s team, long since relegated to Serie B, will play in well other stages next season, most likely with another coach on the bench.
