Jannik Sinner wins the ‘Fans’ Favourite Award’
Jannik Sinner è was honored by the ATP with the ‘Fans’ Favourite Award’. The world number one crowns a stellar season with another award, which he had already won last year, thus confirming himself as the most beloved tennis player among fans.
“I want to thank all the fans in the world for voting for me,” the South Tyrolean told the official ATP website. “It means a lot to me because the votes come from all of you. You are the reason why I love playing tennis. The support è has been incredible throughout the season”.
In 2024, the Italian won eight titles, including two Grand Slam tournaments (Australian Open and Us Open), the ATP Finals in Turin, three Masters 1000s (Miami, Cincinnati and Shanghai) and two ATP 500s (Rotterdam and Halle), as well as a Davis Cup triumph with Italy.
Italy also won this award in doubles. Andrea Vavassori and Simone Bolelli, in fact, are the fans’ favorite pair. The Azzurri expressed their pride in this award via their social profiles.
