Antonio Conte doesn’t trust Torino

Antonio Conte introduced Torino-Napoli, scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m., at a press conference. “We have to be realistic and know that we are only in the 13th day and within a few points there are 6 teams. It’s a balanced league so far, in my opinion I don&#39t think it will remain so until the end. Already at the end of the first round it will start to get a bit longer, but we are pleased, it shows that the work we are doing è good and I am happy, day by day we are laying important foundations and I see a continuous growth as a team but also as individuals. The squad è has grown a lot as a level of individuals compared to Dimaro, credit must be given to the boys who have the desire to improve”.

On Vanoli: “Paolo è a serious guy, a great worker, I had the pleasure of knowing him on a working level when I was at the national team, he was coaching an Under, when there’è was the opportunity; I brought him with me. He worked on my staff, a curious, decent guy, I was è sorry when he decided to break away to take a different path, but at the same time I was proud that I could give something to him and he gave something to me in those years”.

The granata are in difficultyà: “I saw the patitis, I analyzed them. They started very well, then they had the injury of Zapata who was on important levels, but è a solid group, has good quality;, è in the middle of the standings quietly and without a win for a long time, so there are values. It can è happen, I live in Turin, last year almost every Sunday I had the pleasure of going to see the game and è an environment that I know, nice warm, strong, attached to history, we will have to be very careful, è a game to be approached in the right best, with respect for the qualityà of the opponent and the environment that we will find and their history”.

Last year Torino-Napoli ended up; 3-0: “I remember the game well, it was a bit of a peculiar match, but it&#39s useless to look at the past, what counts is the present, having reset a bit’ everything with the boys. I know soccer very well, there are times when there’s negativity no matter what, you get a shot and it ends up under the cross, an episode, everything goes wrong for you, you get into a period of negativity and you have to be good to get out of it. If we really want to … there’è the example of a team like City that comes from 4 defeats and a draw, there are those negative moments, but you have to restart some times you è be good, others you get into a spiral. We started with the draw with Modena, the defeat in Verona 3-0, we too understood that we needed to reset without looking back where we find beautiful things two years ago and very ugly last year, we think about the present and it is important to have found a group that gives me satisfaction in coming to Castel Volturno but it must be just the base”.

Milan, Paulo Fonseca does not hide problems in defense

Soì spoke Milan coach Paulo Fonseca on the eve of the home match against Empoli, returning to the errors of the Rossoneri rearguard in the Champions League.

“We won in Bratislava, but we had defensive problems on which I cannot close my eyes. We talked about it and worked on it. I must say forò that we are the fifth defense in the league, we took less than Atalanta and the same as Inter and Lazio.

“We are making a monster out of a problem. We want to work, we are working for it. In Bratislava the error was not tactical but in reading the moment, individual technique. We won, is everything okay? No. But after we work I have positive responses from the team”.

Paola Egonu and teammates seeking redemption in Lombard derby with Bergamo

After the clean loss to VakifBank Istanbul, Numia Vero Volley Milano goes on the hunt for redemption in the Lombard derby with Bergamo, a match valid for the tenth day of the first leg of the regular season. The appointment for Paola Egonu and teammates è Sunday, December 1 at 5 p.m. (live DAZN and VBTV) at Pala Facchetti in Treviglio.

È a tricky match awaits the Consortium women&#39s first team at Pala Facchetti: the meneghine, still without Marinova struggling with a physical problem, are coming back from championship and Champions League stops and against coach Parisi&#39s lineup they will be looking for a victory useful for morale and to reverse the negative trend of the last week. On the other side of the net they will find a tough team like Bergamo, capable of picking up three precious points for the standings (share 15 points and seventh place for the Bergamo girls) after overcoming Wash4green Pinerolo with a clear 3-0.

There are seven previous matches between the two teams (6 wins for Milan, only 1 for Bergamo), which will take the court on Sunday to collect important points in view of defining the Italian Cup grid. The match’s only ex; coach Carlo Parisi, who served as Milan’s head coach in the 2019/2020 season.

For the 80° A1 Series Championship Tigotà Bergamo is set to start with a completely renewed roster. It starts from the bench with the arrival of coach Carlo Parisi from Florence, who brings with him the Cuban setter Cese Montalvo. In the box of directors arrives the American Evans, at her first experience in the Italian championship, and Carraro. Among the women setters, Serie A1 debut for captain Mlejnkova and Puerto Rican Alcantara, flanked by Italians Piani, Adriano and Bolzonetti. At center, German Strubbe arrives from Stuttgart, along with young Manfredini and Farina. The libero department speaks Italian with Armini and Mistretta. Promoted from the nursery are libero Spampatti and center Crevenna.
