Mick Schumacher announces farewell to Mercedes

After two seasons as a Mercedes reserve driver, Mick Schumacher has decided to take another turn in his career, leaving the Anglo-German stable and exploring new possibilities, if not to rejoin the grid for the 2025 F1 season, at least to compete full-time in another series. The announcement was confirmed by the person directly involved and Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff.

“I am grateful to Toto and the entire Mercedes team for the experience I have had over the past two years,” said the German driver, son of seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher. “It has certainly enriched me and allowed me to delve into the engineering side of this environment.
