Ferrari, Frederic Vasseur focused on weather forecast at Interlagos

This is what Ferrari team principal, Frederic Vasseur, said after qualifying for the sprint race at Interlagos: “È the best we could do today with the set-up we had with this qualifying format. We will try to do a better job tomorrow for real qualifying, but è also a good position for the sprint race”.

“We have won the last two races starting from the second row, I don&#39t know if è a good position, but at least the pace is there’è and we have two cars in the top-5”, added the French manager to Sky Sports microphones.

“The circuit è has been resurfaced but è still the one with the most bumps. Everyone is suffering from that but McLaren probably did a better job and they found a setup that provides more driveability,”, explained Vasseur.

“We’re waiting for the weather forecast for qualifying and the race, we have to keep in mind that Sunday’s race è the most important one in terms of points, so the tire choice will be more about Sunday’s choice than Saturday’s. It will beà a long fight until the end, we will have good races and others probably moreù difficult, meanwhile starting from the second row will beà a good opportunityà”.
