The Words of Italian

Vincenzo Italiano spoke to Sky after the defeat to Aston Villa: “The boys against a strong team, in all respects, I think we put less quality in handling the ball and we tried to attack the depth. We had some situations to score goals, on the first goal è foul on Fabbian and then we didn&#39t have the strength to hurt anymore. But even today the boys were focused, at this moment we are spinning like this;. We didn&#39t manage to score a goal today either but something we showed”.

” We all have to give something more, try to take care of all the details. The conditions to score goals are there, we have to raise the percentages in front. We have too few points in the league compared to performance, as well as in the Champions League. Not scoring è really a shame, we will try to do some more. In the second half we also changed a little something, trying to still have confidence we will take some satisfaction”.

Offensive phase chapter: “The good thing è that we continue to talk about production, the forwards have in their ropes something different than what we are showing under goal. The spark is ignited during training, then when you get in front you need coolness, concreteness and a desire to smash the goal. We defended low”.

Frugal comment on” English teams: “They are going strong, if we want to compete with these teams you have to raise these components. They have an exaggerated level”.

The words of Thiago Motta

Thiago Motta hotly analyzed the defeat to Stuttgart: “Surely they deserved, from the first minute they were better than us. Now we have to digest the defeat as soon as possible and then get back up and face the game against Inter’Inter”.

“What did not work? We failed to take control of the game away from Stuttgart. Few times we were in control, they gave us a hard time with good players. We suffered and deservedly they won”.

“In the offensive phase we have to do better to compete against a team like Stuttgart, but a more complete analysis has to be made: we left control to Stuttgart and when you recover the ball in precarious conditions you are not in the best condition to attack them. We had difficulties in building from the bottom, we have to improve so much in both phases of the game”.

“It’s a great responsibility of mine for what happened, now we have to digest the defeat and improve as much as we can improve”, concluded the Juventus coach.

The Bianconeri, in their first knockout of the season, suffered a lot against the Germans, who però crashed against a superlative Perin, who was also able to parry a penalty kick to Millot a few minutes from the end.

Despite Danilo’s expulsion, Thiago Motta&#39s team looked poised to take home at least a point but’in full recovery the goal of former Atalantino Touré sanctioned the guests’s victory.

Bologna, on the other hand, lasted only a half in Birmingham, then McGinn unblocked the challenge at 55′ on a free kick while Duran &egrave’s deflection nine minutes later was worth the double for the lone leader.
