Physical problem in national team: Piotr Zielinski scares Inter Milan.
With the national team’s break, comes a tile for the league.
Inter Milan is apprehensive about Piotr Zielinski, who will be on the pitch Tuesday with his Poland side in the Nations League match against Croatia. The Nerazzurri midfielder, who moreover opened the scoring by scoring the first goal of a challenge that ended 3-3, è was forced to leave the field at 74′ due to a right thigh problem.
Still to be defined is the physical problem, and therefore also the possible absence from the playing fields of Zielinski. The player's physical condition will be evaluated directly by Inter’s medical staff after the Pole returns to Italy. Moreover, the Nerazzurri will be engaged on Sunday evening in a challenge as prestigious as it is treacherous: the away match at the Olimpico against Roma.
Inter has been trembling over the condition of several players during this period. One step away from recovery Nicolò Barella, Davide Frattesi also gave Simone Inzaghi a scare with a blow to his left ankle suffered during Italy’s 4-1 loss to Israel. Danger also escaped for Marcus Thuram, who had reached France’s training camp with a messy ankle after the Nerazzurri’s championship game against Torino.
At the moment the only player certainly unavailable for Inter remains Tajon Buchanan, who also trained at the Pinetina on Tuesday. He did so, however, only partially with the rest of the group, and then carried out a personalized work program exactly like Barella. Now, però; the picture of Zielinski è also needs to be clarified ahead of the Rome game.

Virtus Bologna defeated, but Luca Banchi is not happy about it
To the disappointment of defeat is added anger.
Virtus Bologna still dry in the Euroleague, after the 68-71 home loss against Zalgiris Kaunas that corresponds to the third defeat of the season in the competition in as many games. But while Luca Banchi finds something for the team to work on, there are some aspects of the game on which there is no shortage of recriminations.
“The game è was really tough,” Banchi stressed in the press conference. “When the level è this, you can score or miss potentially decisive shots. That said, in the last few minutes there were some decisions by the referee that affected the end of the game”.
However, Banchi wanted to compliment his Virtus Bologna: “The players determined my choices and took the court with an attitude that convinced me. The signals they gave me are the right ones, in Lyon there was a reaction and tonight è it came too. I saw guys on the field who refused to lose for the third time in a row, and we showed again and again that we can play”.
In the end, forò, è came the defeat. “Commenting on such a game è really complex. In the first two quarters we suffered their physicalityà, then forò we understood that against such intensity; you need just as much intensity;. If we then think about the last two minutes, forò, we can only dwell on the basket beyond 24 seconds and another decision on Cordinier”, were the words of Banchi.

Cagliari, Tommaso Giulini promises new stadium: “It will be called Gigi Riva”
The project è clear, the prospects yet to be defined.
Cagliari dreams of the new stadium, which will be named after the island club’s legend par excellence: Gigi Riva. Announcing it è was the Rossoblù president, Tommaso Giulini, who on Tuesday took stock of the corporate project after the many problems faced in recent years in an attempt to find a permanent home for Sardinia’s most emblazoned and followed team.
“The new stadium will be made, and it will bear the name of Gigi Riva. That is, the greatest striker in the history not only of Cagliari, but of all Italian soccer,” Giulini said at the event ‘Sport Business Talk’ -. We will realize it together with Unipol, which has been accompanying us for years even in the temporary stadium. Right now, forò we are still in the meanders of bureaucracy”.
Compared to the past, però, Giulini sees progress: “In part, the stadium law has improved things and streamlined the processes. The entities involved are però still too many, we will see what kind of interventions will be needed. Starting with the possibility of an extraordinary commissioner”.
Cagliari has played in the historic Sant’Elia stadium since the 1970-’71 Serie A season, to date the only one played as reigning Italian champions. The facility è was abandoned in 2012 before returning to use between 2013 and 2017. In the short interval 2012-2013, the Rossobl’s played in Quartu Sant’Elena, at the Is Arenas stadium. Since 2017, however, their home matches have been held at the’former Sardegna Arena, now known as Unipol Domus.

Olimpia Milano knocked out, Ettore Messina finds three reasons and asks for patience
After a painful knockout, the ‘appeal è not to lose your temper.
Olimpia Milano defeated in the Euroleague, with Olympiacos collecting against the meneghini a round 89-68 in Athens. Extremely severe score for the Red Shoes, with Ettore Messina trying to analyze the team’s momentum and the causes of such a negative result after the game.
“In these first games of the season we è happened to play schizophrenic games, and today there was one – Messina commented -. We alternated good moments with bad ones, but the latter were the key to the game for Olimpia Milano. I can think of three”.
So Messina listed them: “First, at the end of the first quarter, we lost the lead we had gained after a complicated start to the game. Then, in the second, we had brought ourselves back to -2 and we thwarted everything with childish mistakes both on offense and defense. Finally, in the third period, we again managed to get back to -4 after four excellent minutes. Forò in just two, we fell again”.
” These are situations that are repeating themselves, on the road è the second time something like this has happened. We need to control the pace of the game better and be patient. Sometimes, instead of forcing the play, è it is better to get to the third or fourth offensive option. We need the players to help each other, but we will continue to work on the basis of what we saw today. And from this defeat we will learn something”, added Messina.
