Loris Capirossi and the C-factor for Pecco Bagnaia
The words of Loris Capirossi
Loris Capirossi spoke about the last MotoGp weekend: “I think it will be a beautiful finale. We have to be honest: è very difficult for Pecco, it must happen that Jorge makes some mistakes, becauseé 24 points gap is a lot. Forò races are always races, anything canò really happen».
“Arithmetically it is not è over. Pecco in Sepang showed that he still believes. And he does well. I think we need to wait until the checkered flag of the real race, becauseé even the Sprint, unless Bagnaia falls, will not decide» nothing».
“Can the challenge between Martin and Bagnaiaò be compared to that between Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, considering they had the same bike? Absolutely sì. They are showing that they have reached a very high level, their challenge is becoming epic. Martin knows he has an almost unique chance, so I think he will be wait-and-see. Pecco, on the other hand, has to bring home the maximum, although it may not be enough”.
“What does Bagnaia have to do, besides having to win races? Have c… In the sense that something has to happen to Jorge. What about Martin? Nothing. he has to stay calm”.

Chieri in the round of 16, Scandicci makes no mistake
Chieri and Scandicci ok
Two more 3-0 wins. The recurring result of the first two weeks of European cups also returns in the Scandicci and Chieri matches.
Second victory in as many CEV Champions League matches for Savino Del Bene Scandicci, which, in a Scharrena packed to capacity, won in three sets at the end of a match that saw coach Marco Gaspari’s team always in control of the game. As in the match a week ago, against the Romanian CSO Voluntari 2005, Maja Ognjenovic’s direction was excellent, sorting the balls for her own fire mouths with balance. For the Tuscan team to record a good performance in reception (36% positive and 20% perfect) and readings at the wall, with 8 blocks made (same number as the hosts). Very good performance for Ekaterina Antropova, named MVP of the match thanks to 20 points scored, the result of 15 winning attacks, 4 aces and 1 wall. For Allianz MTV Stuttgart the only one in double figures was Krystal Rivers. For the U.S. opposite, she scored 17 points in three sets. Click here for the report.
Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri ’76 gets its first win of the season in the CEV Challenge Cup, 3-0 at PalaFenera. The result comes in the return match of the round of 16 finals with Dsv Sv Sant Cugat, already overcome in the previous Wednesday’s first leg with the same score. The win qualifies the whites for the round of 16 scheduled for late November and mid-December against either LP Kangasala or Maccabi Haifa. Bregoli shuffles the cards a bit by deploying in the starting lineup Lyashko at center and Rolando as first libero. With them Van Aalen, Gicquel, Zakchaiou, Skinner and Bujis. The first set è was one-sided and slipped away very quickly ending with an eloquent 25-9. Much more hard-fought the next two fractions that ended 25-22 and 25-23, scores that faithfully reflect the uncertainty on the court resolved in Chieri’s favor only in the finals. Best scorer and only one in double figures è Lyashko who finished with 10 points, followed by Bujis at 9 and Gicquel at 8. Tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 14, Chieri will know its opponent in the round of 16 finals. In the first leg match, the Finns of LP Kangasala overcame the Israelis of Maccabi Haifa 3-0. David Luiz rediscovers himself as a penalty taker: we’ve seen better
David Luiz bad from the penalty spot
The third match between Flamengo and Atlético Mineiro in the last ten days è ended in a goalless draw at the Maracanã. A little more than 72 hours after the intense Copa do Brasil final, which saw the title go to the Rio team, the formations found themselves back on the field Wednesday, albeit without some representative elements.
In the first half, Flamengo è failed to take the lead only because of opposing goalkeeper Everson. The’Atl’tico’s extreme defender è was also the protagonist in the highlight of the first 45 minutes, when he parried a penalty kicked by David Luiz: slow and predictable the defender’s execution.
In the second half, good chances on both sides. Matheus Gonçalves, for Flamengo, hit the post of the goal defended by Everson. On the other side, Scarpa and Paulinho orchestrated the best attacks by Atl’tico.
In the final minutes, intensity and running gave way to ball possession and long throws into the box. Neither team è managed to unlock the result, which è remained unchanged: zero to zero.
