Ducati, Tardozzi vents on Pecco Bagnaia: “It’s an open wound”

Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi at the microphones of GPOne.come spoke about the MotoGP title fight, which is more open than ever between Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin: “Never as this year whoever wins the title will deserve it, and whoever comes second will not be outdone. Between Pecco and Martin there’è absolute mutual respect, becauseé both know their strength and Bagnaia is not afraid to face Jorge in Valencia”.

“The challenge è absolutely open and to be played. Both can win it: for the one who wins it, it will be deserved, and the one who loses it; he will not be second”.

However, Tardozzi pointed out that Bagnaia has won 8 races, while Martin only 3: “It’s paradoxical to think that Pecco has won 8 races while Jorge 3, and yet thereò is 10 points behind in the championship”.

“This è an open wound, but I think Bagnaia knows it well and I am convinced that he will be able to give us the satisfaction that he and the whole team deserve, becauseé in the end Pecco è aware of the value of the team”.

Monza, Adriano Galliani speaks out on Alessandro Nesta

Monza è the only Serie A team yet to have not won in the league after seven matches, but for the moment coach Alessandro Nesta remains firmly in place. CEO Adriano Galliani confirmed this on the sidelines of the “Monza, tell us biancorosse” event: “Serenità? Sì. With Roma è it was a very important draw, fundamental”.

The slow start doesn&#39t worry Galliani at all: “In the locker room, when I came in after the game, I told the boys that two years ago we had four points after seven games and we made 52. I told them that if they make 50 I&#quot; be happy all the same”, are the words reported by Ansa.

On the retreat: “I have never understood what is the point of sending the team to retreat, I have never sent a team to retreat, if with the retreat you win the games everyone wins the scudetto and no one relegates…”.

Absolute confidence in Alessandro Nesta: “Another absurd thing è changing coaches, if really dramatic things don&#39t happen, so it&#39s never been in question. The referee? The Hague said it wasn&#39t a penalty”.

C’è Novak Djokovic: Flavio Cobolli is not in the skin

Flavio Cobolli will challenge Novak Djokovic, his absolute idol, for the first time in his career: after his victory against Stan Wawrinka, the Tuscan tennis player confessed all his excitement in facing his source of inspiration. “Djokovic è my idol. I will try to enjoy every minute”.

Cobolli, who will try to pull off the feat in Shanghai, beat the experienced Wawrinka in a comeback by finding his tennis after a complicated first set: “Stan è a legend of our sport and it is a pleasure to play against him on such a court”.

“He also played against my father in the past. I don’t talk to my father about the opponents he faced, forò when he faced him he was more or less his ageà. I think it was a very tough match. We both started well, it was bad for me in the first tie-break because I could have won it. It was not obvious to be able to stay lì in the second”.

More on Nole: “I watched a lot of his videos and matches. Even now I watch his best shots before I go to sleep, I want to enjoy every point and minute of this match. I am a little tired, but I had a lot of motivation. I really wanted to play against Nole tomorrow and I want to enjoy the opportunity'” .

Inter: contacts underway for strike in attack

Inter is already moving for next season, and in particular to reinforce the attack available to Simone Inzaghi. In the sights of Marotta and Ausilio there’s been Jonathan David, a Lille striker whose contract expires next June and who smells a farewell from Ligue 1.

According to rumors coming out of France, Inter have already made concrete moves to acquire the player and have already contacted the entourage of the Canadian national, who from January will be free to deal freely with any club he wants.

The class of 2000 è a striker followed by several European clubs, and among them would be Barcelona as well as several Premier League clubs. David will be released on a zero-parameter basis but will have decidedly high salary demands.

In this first part of the season David has scored 5 goals in 6 Ligue 1 matches, and in the past week he scored the goal that enabled Lille to beat Real Madrid in the Champions League.
