Two missed penalties: crazy first half in Florence

At halftime of the match between Fiorentina and AC Milan, Yacine Adli’s goal (former on duty) at 35′ decided the match. The former Rossoneri scored with a precise shot that caught Mike Maignan and the entire Rossoneri defense by surprise.

The French goalkeeper a few minutes earlier had made a masterpiece by guessing Moise Kean’s penalty (first mistake from 11 meters in his career): the striker kicked, not very well, to the right of Maignan, who è dived in time and neutralized the penalty.

At the end of the first half, the referee awarded a penalty to AC Milan for a foul by Ranieri, on the penalty spot came Theo Hernandez who, however, was unable to get past David De Gea, who was very skillful in intercepting the shot at the right corner.

Milan mocked by ex: social unleashed

Sunday night’s match between Fiorentina and Milan è was unblocked in the 35th minute by Yacine Adli, the former on duty. The midfielder received the ball from a throw-in, è moved well to the edge of the area past Pulisic and beat an immobile Maignan at the far post.

Surely the Rossoneri rearguard could have done more: the department was deployed since it started from a throw-in and Adli did not è certainly Vinicius. Tomori and his teammates, however, were not responsive and the Rossoneri cashed in on the goal.

On social media, the Rossoneri people went wild: in addition to the many criticisms of the Diavolo’s defense, many users expressed their disappointment with the goal by Adli, someone who has always given his all for the Rossoneri jersey despite not playing often. The midfielder, after the goal, chose not to exult as a sign of respect.

An important draw, as pointed out after the game.

Alessandro Nesta praises Monza after the 1-1 draw snatched in the brianzoli’s delicate home challenge against Roma. The biancorosso coach, in a press conference, stressed the difficulties the team is facing but also the players’application to the cause.

“We have always been up to the task, even with Roma, who è a great team,” Nesta told reporters at the press conference. “Congratulations to the team, but we cannot afford to have seven players out. The break will help us “.

The standings remain deficit at the moment, but Nesta trusts his Monza: “The points are these, you work, you shut up. Now forò we have to make some wins. The boys are showing great responsibility. We owe our fans right now, and we want to pay them back”.

Some indication, finally, on the challenge represented by Roma and the tactical choices made in sending Monza on the field against the Giallorossi. “We suffered at the beginning, sometimes you prepare the game and the opponent changes it for you. Martins? I preferred to put D’Ambrosio, I made a different choice”, Nesta commented.

Tense nerves after the draw obtained in Brianza.

Roma and Ivan Juric tense nerves in Monza after the 1-1 draw that è consummated on Brianza soil. In the post-match press conference, in particular, the Giallorossi coach dwelt on the penalty not awarded by referee La Penna for a contact between Kyriakopoulos and Baldanzi. An episode on which the judgment of ds Florent Ghisolfi had also been very harsh.

“The images speak, sometimes è it is difficult to accept certain decisions. The director said it all. Whether è it is right to have a referee from Rome direct the match? To this question I do not answer”, Juric ruled in the press conference. Earlier Ghisolfi had told ‘DAZN’: “I am not in the habit of complaining about refereeing, but tonight we saw something unacceptable. Everyone saw the foul on Baldanzi, so why didn&#39t the Var è intervene? We demand that towards Roma there is respect”.

Juric then focused on his Roma’s performance: “We played a great game. We built chances ourselves, and we allowed Monza very little. I am very sorry for the result and also for the penalty not given”, his words.

There’è però some improvement that Juric hopes to see in the team: “In these five games Roma raised their level, I am very satisfied. We have to grow and become more rabid, we need some healthy ignorance, some nastiness when you find the goal after missing seven eight chances”.
