Verona, defense under indictment: admission of Paolo Zanetti

The words of Paolo Zanetti ahead of Como-Verona
Como-Verona on Sunday, September 29 (3 p.m.) challenge already fundamental on the road to salvation for the 2 teams? Gialloblù coach Paolo Zanetti, on the eve of the match against Fabregas’ lineup, fresh from the resounding away win against Atalanta, sees it this way: “I consider it an important match as all, è still long. È a very balanced league, with no weaker teams, Como” itself proves it”.
In the dock, after the home defeat against Torino, the defensive phase. “We always work on all phases but right now there’s to improve that phase there, we have to take fewer goals”. Now Como, 5 points in the standings against the Veronese’s 6. ” Games are coming that will uncover the cards and tell us who we really are, and we have to get there at our best”.
Recovered Duda and Suslov, could find space from the start Sarr, Livramento and Alidou: “Sarr started first in the last match, so I thought he was already ready. I will make the choices based on what I saw this week, and the players we got back. They are all guys who can give a lot to Verona, Livramento è came in very well against Torino, as he did already on other occasions, it takes him very little to get back to top form, he has great speed and ripping, he can be useful both from the start and from the bench, like Mosquera, who can do well both from the start and as a substitute. Alidou has a small resentment and we will see if he will be in the game. We will always field the best team for the type of match. Remembering that those who enter è equally important than those who start if not more; and we often change games with substitutions”.
Dawidowicz, sent off for reaction against Torino, will missà Como and the next one against Venezia. “Dawidowicz was wrong, especially for a guy who è a leader of this team, and he paid with the defeat of the team and in addition; he paid the fine, dinner to the team and two days of disqualification. But I told him that to equalize one day he will make us score a goal on a corner kick and give us the three points. We must not think too much about what we have already done, but about what we will have to do”.

Matteo Arnaldi recovers Gaston and hits the round of 16 in Geneva

Matteo Arnaldi is off to a good start at the Geneva ATP 250. After a surprising elimination in the first round at the Internazionali d’Italia, the tennist from Liguria redeemed himself in his debut at the ‘Gonet Geneva Open’, defeating Hugo Gaston, world number 74, in a comeback.
