Simone Inzaghi’s words on the eve of the derby

Simone Inzaghi spoke in a press conference on the eve of the derby with AC Milan, scheduled for Sunday evening at 8:45 p.m. at the San Siro. “We know what match we are going to meet – he began -, we know what the derby represents for us and for the fans, it will take a special Inter after a match in which we spent a lot but è in matches like this that you find energy”.

Inter is chasing its seventh consecutive success against the Rossoneri, but the Nerazzurri coach warns his team: “Memories do not bring points and goals, we have to focus on tomorrow&#39s match. We will need maximum attention, we will face very good players”.

“It should not happen that we feel with a full belly – added the Piacenza coach -. Milan played a very good game against Venezia and then lost to Liverpool. We have to focus on what we will have to do, a great race of running and aggressiveness; becauseé derbies are like that. The details are fundamental”.

Lautaro Martinez should start from the 1′: “As for Lautaro there is no case, è our captain and he has played a whole year without stopping. He is working very hard, even yesterday he è trained together with his teammates: if heà well he will certainly play from the first minute”.

“My players have a very strong sense of belonging, they are connected to each other and to the fans. È something moreù, tomorrow it will be important to show the things we know how to do, knowing that we will face a Milan with great qualityà and a valuable coach” concluded Inzaghi.

The words of Paulo Fonseca on the eve of Inter-Milan

Paulo Fonseca presented the derby with Inter in a press conference: “There’s a great frustration from everyone, but awareness that we are united to get out of this situation. The team understands the moment and we work together to try to do better. The solution now è work to learn and try to do better”.

“We are playing against a very strong team, it can be surely important – added the rossoneri coach -. I like to see positive things, winning would mean so much”.

The Portuguese coach is not thinking about his future: “I am not thinking about that. The most important thing è thinking about the team and the derby. What I did è what I always do: do my job and prepare the players. I have always felt trust from the company è about my work. Nothing è has changed. I understand the curiosity è about when Ibrahimovic comes to Milanello, we are close and talk often. È it is normal that it is so”.

On the Diavolo’s difficulties in this start of the season: “I don’t want to make excuses and just deal with the situation, with work and talking to my players. We have good moments in the game, but we lack continuityà. I feel the team is growing every day. We definitely need time”.

“I believe in a form of winning. I know the game is not valued much here, but when they chose me è becauseé they wanted to change something. I keep saying the same thing: when a team often has the ball they have a better chance of winning. And with the players we have we have to have it more and create more,” concluded Fonseca.
