The words of Daniele De Rossi

On the eve of the match against Genoa that is valid for the fourth day of Serie A, Roma coach Daniele De Rossi, among the various topics discussed in the press conference, wanted to take stock of the conditions of Artem Dovbyk, Mario Hermoso and Mats Hummels ahead of the challenge against the Rossoblù, scheduled for Sunday, September 15 at 12:30 p.m. at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

“Hermoso and Hummels will definitely give us extra chances. Their international experience will help us a lot. They need some time to get to 100 percent condition, we will evaluate them from game to game and according to our needs. They are ready to play, we will just have to figure out whether from the first minute or in the game. From next week we will have a game every three days, so there will be a need for everyone regardless of the minutes” began the Giallorossi coach.

“Artem è ready to play and will be available for Genoa. He’s a very important player for us. He’s our striker and we put a lot of focus on him. We had a good match in Turin, but we are not happy with the result. All Dovbyk needs to do is get unblocked, and as soon as he does, I am convinced he will not stop. We changed a lot of players in the summer, so itè normal that we need some time to get to know and understand each other” continued the former Giallorossi captain.

“We are trying to prepare the match with respect to what we have seen Genoa do when they face a big team based on Gilardino’s ideas and based on what he has done in the last few years. È a very tidy team and we saw it at home against Inter as well, noticing how it managed to put them in difficulty. Genoa è a strong opponent despite losing important pieces We will go there and play our game” added the former SPAL coach.

“I don’t think Zalewski’s exclusion is final, I think it is related to the expiring contract. It was the company’s decision. Should he find the agreement for the extension he could be reinstated. I have always taken my responsibilities, this time talk to Nicola, his agent or the club” Daniele De Rossi&quoted.
