Beautiful Juve: Vlahovic and youth rout Verona. Thiago Motta first

Impeccable victory for Juventus at the Bentegodi in Verona. Gialloblù defeated 3 to 0, signed by a double from Vlahovic and Savona’s goal in front of 30 thousand spectators. The three points allowed Thiago Motta’s players, who fielded 7 players born in 2000 or later, to take the lone lead with 6 points after two matches.

Zanetti’s Hellas, stopped at 3 points, did not repeat the cautious first half against Napoli defensively, leaving the Bianconeri to act at will at speed. Thus’è was born the lead, thus’è materialized the doubling and, in the resumption, the tris. On the other front, Motta’s rearguard closed every opening while Di Gregorio è was decisive only at 38’ of the resumption on Tengstedt’s underhand touch.

First half. The teams on the field are studied with the’hope that a mistake of others can become an opportunity of their own. 14’: Livramento first, Mosquera then, have their conclusions knocked back, the second into a corner from which nothing springs. 17’: immediate the Bianconeri response, entrusted to Locatelli from outside, Montipò plastic in the corner with the same outcome as the previous one. As the minutes pass, Juve raises its center of gravity, Verona’s midfield and rearguard do not seem as airtight as against Napoli. Yildiz leads a couple of defenders astray, enters the area from the left, shot rebounded. Great aerial assist by Vlahovic that fishes, at the second post, Savona: goal, referee whistle, annulled for offside.

We restart after the refreshing break but the’impression was right: the Verona midfield è distant from the defense: no filter. Juve thanks. 28’: Yildiz, on a touch by Locatelli who had blown the ball in a contrast to Duda (regular according to the Var), invents in the central corridor for Vlahovic: the center forward, on speed, strikes Montipò for the Juventus 1-0. It takes Hellas a while to recover, at 36’ they win a free kick from the limit: Suslov beats it, nothing done. Once again Verona is found unprepared, catching another counter-attack: Mbangula’s center, Savona’s imperious take-off that beats Montipò with Vlahovic ready to put it back in the net: 2-0 Juve. Mosquera has the ball to reopen the game but he chinches before kicking with the result of seeing his two conclusions rebuffed. Three minutes of recovery, everyone in the locker room.

Start of resumption. Hellas forward, Juve waits for the opening to slip in for the third time. It happens after just 6’: the unleashed Mbangula makes the gap on the left, enters the box, is landed by Tchatchoua, penalty: Vlahovic from the penalty spot, 3-0 and personal double. Zanetti inserts Frese, Alidou and Tengstedt, then Harroui. The minutes tick by, Verona hits a wall. And when it isnè t so, Suslov’s free kick from the short side of the area, a safe shot finds Gatti

‘s foot.

Enter, in Juve, Douglas Luiz. Harroui takes off down the right and lets off a low shot at the first post that goes wide. Rouhi and Kalulu are also in, then Danilo and Anghele and in Verona Dani Silva. 38’: first save signed by Di Gregorio, decisive on Tengstedt’s underhand touch. Four minutes of recovery, triple whistle, Hellas Verona-Juventus 0-3.

Carlos Sainz returns on farewell to Ferrari and è candid about Lewis Hamilton

During an interview given to the microphones of the Spanish newspaper “As”, Carlos Sainz è returned to talk about his farewell to Ferrari to make way for seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton starting in 2025.

“I have no negative words toward Ferrari, and I don&#39t think they have any negative feelings toward me either. It’s a relationship that hasn’t been broken because we’re not happy with each other, but because of a circumstantial issue. I remain convinced that if Hamilton had not wanted to end his career at Ferrari, I would have renewed. To a seven-time world champion, però è impossible to say no and I understand the team&#39s choice to confirm Charles and not me” began the Spanish driver.

“When I arrived at Ferrari, the team was going through a very difficult time. In 2020 they were far behind the best. I am very proud of the progress this team has made thanks in part to my work. These have been seasons that have allowed me to win my first F1 races, get my first pole positions and win several podiums. I am happy to have come to a historic team and to have had the pleasure of driving Ferrari over these years” continued the’former McLaren.

“Charles è one of the fastest drivers I have ever faced, especially on a dry lap. Between us the difference è always been minimal. The only problems came from always going to the track together, one after the other, but that è was the advantage of Ferrari with a very balanced pair of drivers” added the Spanish number 55.

“My next adventure will be at Williams, where I will try to do something similar to what I did in Ferrari and McLaren. I want to help the team improve moving forward. I have the experience and the good energy to help them progress. I have been good in the past and my next goal è to bring the stable to the top 10. If we do well in the next two years, I would like to be able to bet on Williams again in the future” concluded Carlos Sainz.

CONI President Giovanni Malagò spoke at the Allianz Tower in Milan on the sidelines of an event with Olympic and Paralympic athletes who participated in the Paris Games. During his speech, the Rome native wanted to dwell on the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics and the role that Jannik Sinner will play, who will be one of the volunteers contributing to the event’s organization.

“The origins of Jannik Sinner, who è is from South Tyrol, suggest that he could have become the world number one in skiing. This we can never know, but we certainly know that he è become the number one in tennis” began the CONI president.

“Volunteers are crucial to the Olympics. Without them such an event would not be economically sustainable. Sinner will be the No. 1 volunteer in Milan-Cortina. It’s really a lot of stuff” added Giovanni Malagò.
