Filippo Inzaghi enjoys his Pisa

.

The victory against Palermo delighted Pisa coach Filippo Inzaghi, who spoke to 50 Channel after the success against the Rosnaero: “The credit for this victory è of the boys because they were extraordinary. There were several players from last year on the field, and that’s the most important thing. It was a good match, I am glad to have given it to our club and fans but in a few days we will be back on the field already: this team allows me to make the turnover, some guys finished the match with cramps”.

” We played an incredible game, so we have to be satisfied and aware that we can enjoy it. I am overjoyed with the attitude we put on the field, but it will have to be maintained for many matches”.

“We are strong, we have included important players – continued Inzaghi – : not taking goals against Palermo’s forwards must give us confidence. Tramoni and Leris worked all over the field, but the defenders also did a good job. We have nothing to lose, we have to build our future match by match: we must not stay out of the top eight”.

Monza-Genoa 0-1

Genoa passes in Monza with the beautiful goal scored by Pinamonti at the end of the first half of the game: second game without goals scored by Nesta’s team, which struggles so much in the offensive phase.

A first half in which chances are latent is ignited in the recovery. The hosts went in on goal with Maldini, who took back a ball rejected by Gollini after a header by Petagna. The linesman raises the flag and is not wrong, becauseé the goal is annulled for irregular position of the’former Cagliari. Very few minutes pass and the guests take the lead: Pessina loses the ball, Sabelli recovers it and crosses for Pinamonti, who doesn’t give Pizzignacco a chance with a peremptory header.

In the second half, Monza tried to straighten out the result, risked when Thorsby, all alone in the center of the area, kicked badly, but came close to equalizing with a conclusion by Caprari that ended up on the post. The uncertain Mariani starts handing out yellow cards, the Biancorossi throw balls into the box but without any constructiveness, and in the end Genoa wins with merit.
