Fiorentina, Palladino: “Inexplicable departure”

Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino spoke after the 3-3 draw with Puskas Akademia in the Conference League. “It was a bad start, you have to be realistic. It was an inexplicable start, leaving down 2-0 and also mentally and technically. We made technical mistakes that I don&#39t even see in practice, we were good at staying in the race”.

The Viola overturned the result in the second half: “In the second half I è liked the team attitude, I è liked the team spirit but we conceded goals on set pieces, there is no way to take a goal like thatì. You have to analyze what we did well and what there’è to improve”.

Kean found the goal: “I don&#39t think it&#39s a matter of a single player, those who è entered gave a strong push to the team. I would like to see some of this attitude from everyone, which I did not see today. I will know how to speak to the team, è it is my job and I will have to analyze this thing”.

Florentin bungles: 3-3 mockery and qualification in the balance

A disappointing Fiorentina drew 3-3 against Puskas Akademia in the first leg match of the Uefa Conference League qualifiers. Raffaele Palladino’s team at the Franchi after a disastrous start overturned the result, but è was mocked just before the triple whistle: now they will be forced to play for qualification to the rounds in the return match in the Magyar country.

A shock first half for the violets, who conceded two goals in the first quarter of an hour: on 9’Kayode knocked out Nagy in the box, who from the penalty spot scored the visitors’ goal for the lead. On 12′ came the surprising double by Soisalo, after another Kayode mistake. The liliati slowly entered the game and after a Beltran’s chance and Bianco’s crossbar found the 1-2 with a turn in the box by Sottil on an assist from Parisi.

The hosts in the second half stormed the opponent’s goal and turned the tide: on 67′ came Martinez Quarta’s 2-2 header, on 75′ the 3-2 by newcomer Kean, in his first goal after more than a year of fasting. At 89’89’ the incredible 3-3 Hungarian è came after a new distraction of the purple defense on a corner, Golla scored.

In a week the decisive return match in Hungary: Palladino will have to work especially on defense.

Jannik Sinner, but what booing: how much heat in New York

The New York crowd fired up Jannik Sinner on the first day of practice at Arthur Ashe court ahead of the start of the US Open. The Italian tennis player, in the spotlight for the case that broke out in recent days, è trained together with Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov: for him no whistles and no protests, but only applause from the audience present.

The U.S. fans seem to have sided with him: Sinner è was greeted by great warmth as he entered the court, and signed several autographs before starting practice.

The Blue, who appeared calm, è was followed by coaches Darren Cahill and Simone Vagnozzi. Sinner will return to practice again at the Arthur Ashe on Friday, with friend Hubert Hurkacz.

Sinner comes to Flushing Meadows among the favorites for the final victory: he will debut in the first round against Mackenzie McDonald. The first goal è to improve on last season’s results, when he stopped in the round of 16 against Zverev: the South Tyrolean could meet Daniil Medvedev in the quarters and Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinals, while a possible match against Novak Djokovic may not take place until the last act of the Slam.
