Milan, Stefano Pioli: “I don’t feel alone”

These are the words of Milan coach Stefano Pioli, reported by the official website of the Rossoneri, in the press conference on the eve of the match of the fourteenth day of Serie A against Frosinone.

“It will serveà a high level of play. Frosinone is doing very well and has confidence, Di Francesco is doing a great job. They are aggressive but we know the way to put them in trouble, in construction we will have to try to have numerical superiority. We want to win, we need it. We need to score points, the championship è long. As always we will need attention, determination and quality; let’s show that we are still competitive with a serious performance”.

“There are 25 games left in the league, I told the players not to come on Thursday to Milanello if they did not believe they could catch up with Inter and Juventus. In the Champions League we have little chance, but we will give everything in Newcastle. I saw a convinced team, my energy I want to spend only to motivate the group. The team è always compacted in negative moments, this aspect è a great asset. These days we could not work much on the field, but we have clear ideas on how we want to play. Then the matches can change from the forecast, certainly we have to improve in reading the moments”.

“The meeting with Cardinal? È it was a very positive and above all constructive meeting, now I and the team have even more” stimuli”.

“The’injury emergency? The situation will get better in the coming weeks, especially in the forwards the emergency will end soon. We will do everything to recover Leão against Atalanta. Behind è more difficult becauseé Thiawè s also a long injury, but from the next game we will have Kjær” back.

“As for the youngsters, Simić has been working with us since the summer, è he is a strong defender and I have seen him quiet. But I am not saying whether he will play. We are accompanying him on the path like Camarda, who after his debut did not change his attitude”.

Conclusion on the words of Paolo Maldini: “To Maldini and Massara I will always be grateful for bringing me to Milan and for the relationship we had. I am not and do not feel alone, I have always been supported by the Club and work in the ideal conditions to do well”.
