Massimiliano Allegri doesn’t change his mind: ‘We play against the favorites for the Scudetto’

Massimiliano Allegri’s words on the eve of Juventus-Inter
Massimiliano Allegri presented the challenge against Inter, scheduled for Sunday evening at the Allianz Stadium, in a press conference: “For us tomorrow è very important, è an important stage in the team’s path of growth. We play against the favorites in the league, they said it themselves and I don't think it's anything new. Changing form? We have no problems in the midfield. Right now going to change something does not seem right to me, then in the course of the game something can be changed”.
“It’s been a long time since we played a match that could be worth the first place, but to us nothing changes. We must desire victory tomorrow as we did against other teams. We must be a cohesive team that knows its limitations and turns them into strength”
On Chiesa: “Chiesa played good games in the national team, but he had already done well with us before. Tomorrow he will decide on the center forward”
On the injured: “Alex Sandro returns, Danilo I think will be back before Monza, Weah let’s see. Locatelli in the last three days has è trained and will evaluate tomorrow whether to have him return from the’beginning or start from the bench”.
Midfield choices: “C’è also Miretti. Will have to evaluate tomorrow, especially for possible changes. We will see how Locatelli is, surely someone will playà in front of the defense”.
“I can hardly explain soccer, I don’t know how come but I’m sure he’ll be back scoring lots of goals between now and the end of the season” he commented on Vlahovic.

Matteo Arnaldi recovers Gaston and hits the round of 16 in Geneva
Matteo Arnaldi is off to a good start at the Geneva ATP 250. After a surprising elimination in the first round at the Internazionali d’Italia, the tennist from Liguria redeemed himself in his debut at the ‘Gonet Geneva Open’, defeating Hugo Gaston, world number 74, in a comeback.
The Blue won with a final score of 6-7 6-4 6-4 after nearly two and a half hours of struggle. In the first set it was the serve that dominated. The’only one to concede break points – two – was Gaston but the Frenchman saved himself and made the tie-break his own (8-6).
With the momentum in his favor, Gaston pulled ahead by a break in the second set, taking the serve away from Arnaldi in the sixth game (2-4). Here, however, came the Sanremese’s angry reaction, stringing together a run of four consecutive games (6-4), putting everything back on an even keel.
In the third and decisive set Arnaldi immediately escaped to 2-0 but was taken back by the transalpine (2-2). After another exchange of breaks, the’decisive stretch was signed by the Azure at 4-4, winning the last two games (6-4) and thus reaching the round of 16.
