Lorenzo Musetti, admission on Jannik Sinner

Lorenzo Musetti, in an interview with Sky Sports microphones, also spoke about Jannik Sinner, who surrendered only to Novak Djokovic in the final of the ATP Finals.

“Sinner? We were hoping for a win from him and we will welcome him with open arms tonight. I think he deserves it: he played a terrific tournament and probably deserved to lift the cup. Having him on our side è something that other teams envy us” admitted the Carrara tennis player.

“We are happy that I can play with us and we look forward to joking with him. È our spearhead. The group will revolve around him as it should” he added.

He then analyzed the upcoming opponents in the Davis Cup: “The Netherlands è a solid team, with two very good singles players who have done well this year. A very strong doubles team. We know their weaknesses and we will try to push each other to get through the round”.

“I did not experience the end of the season I wanted in terms of results, but I managed to maintain a very good physical condition. I arrive in Malaga quite rested and fresh from a physical point of view. I hope I can regain confidence with my teammates. After the miracle we performed in Bologna, we united even more. This è the’right event to regain motivation” Musetti closed.
