Angelo Binaghi sends advice to Lorenzo Musetti

With only a few days to go before the Nitto ATP Finals, FITP President Angelo Binaghi, during an interview with the microphones of the “Stampa, spoke bluntly about the adventure that awaits Jannik Sinner. In addition, the former blue tennis player took it upon himself to send a hint to Lorenzo Musetti.

“It’s our luck. He’s much smarter than he looks. They criticized him and he didn&#39t flinch, è he came back on the field and won. I am interested in him staying steady in the top three in the world in the coming years and playing every Slam with the knowledge that he can win it. In Paris-Bercy there’s been little respect for Jannik, but the important thing is that we brought him home safely. At the Finals it will be a very challenging adventure. I will be rooting for Sinner until the last ball, but honestly I get a lot of chills thinking about a’hypothetical final between him and Alcaraz” began the blue president.

” I expected more from him, but the Musetti problem must be solved in a systemic and rational way, as Jannik did. Sinner è corconducted himself of a working group regardless of expense and at the cost of even human sacrifices becauseé leaving Piatti was not è painless. He finalizes everything to programming and even the decision not to play Davis Cup made sense. Lorenzo looks for whoever he wants, there is no need to leave someone, but he needs to be supported by people who can help him” continued the sports executive.

In conclusion Angelo Binaghi spent words of praise for Matteo Berrettini: “Matteo’s only problem è the physical. He è a mature man and understands the game better than others, even those who have won 4-5 Slams. If I had to choose the future Davis captain I would definitely choose him. I have no intention of changing Volandri, because heé had the good fortune/luck to have taken a team already ready to win without having the time to mature the right experience”.

serie-a-2024-2025:-torino-verona,-the-likely-lineups

With the championship now devoid of concrete goals, all Torino has left to do is to hit the last symbolic milestone: mathematical salvation, only one point away. From there on, the goal will be to end the season in the best possible way, accumulating as many points as possible. At the Olimpico – Grande Torino, however, comes a hungry Verona, which, with only a 7-point margin over the relegation zone, needs a win to avoid nasty surprises, especially if Empoli should overcome Cagliari.

The granata are going through a good moment: they are unbeaten for five rounds and on the last day they snatched a heavy point at the Olimpico against Lazio. The Scaligeri are also living a positive moment, with two consecutive useful results: the external victory in Udine and the internal draw against Parma. All the ingredients for an intense challenge are there.

Probable lineups:

Torino probable lineup (4-2-3-1): Milinkovic; Walukiewicz, Coco, Maripan, Biraghi; Casadei, Ricci; Lazaro, Vlasic, Elmas; Adams. All. Vanoli.

Probable Verona lineup (3-5-2): Montipò; Ghilardi, Coppola, Valentini; Tchatchoua, Dawidowicz, Duda, Bernede, Bradaric; Mosquera, Sarr. All. Zanetti.
