Gudmundsson decisive, Genoa by measure over Salernitana
The Serie A Week 10 match between Genoa and Salernitana, played at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris in Genoa, ended with a 1-0 result in favor of Genoa. The match è started at 8:45 p.m., with both teams opting for more defensive formations, Genoa with a 3-5-2 and Salernitana with a 3-4-2-1.
The first half è was characterized by a very balanced game, with both teams trying to take control of the game. Genoa had several chances, with Radu Dragusin and Milan Badelj coming close to scoring in the first minutes. However, è it was Albert Gudmundsson who broke the balance in the 35° minute, scoring with a shot from outside the box on an assist from Ruslan Malinovskyi. The first half of the game è ended with Genoa leading 1-0.
The second half saw Salernitana try to react, but Genoa’s defense è managed to resist the opponents’ attacks. In addition, the match saw two injuries, with Mattia Bani of Genoa and Matteo Lovato of Salernitana forced to leave the field.
Despite Salernitana’s efforts, Genoa è managed to maintain the lead until the end, bringing home an important victory. The match è ended with the result 1-0 in favor of Genoa, thanks to Albert Gudmundsson’s goal in the first half. This victory represents an important step forward for Genoa, which relaunched itself after two consecutive defeats.

Another big man exits the tournament. After the various Alcaraz and Djokovic, Zverev è is also no longer in the running at the US Open. Dreams big for Fritz who, in the semifinals, will face the other American Tiafoe who, in the quarterfinals, wins the match with Dimitrov, forced to retire in the fourth set due to a physical problem: 6-3, 6-7, 6-3, 4-1 the partials in favor of Tiafoe.
The United States dreams, after 21 years (Roddick, 2003), of an American winning the U.S. Open. In the meantime, it enjoys Sinner who, thanks to Zverev è’s knockout; increasingly serene in his comfortable position as world No. 1.
