Luca Marini got married

Day of celebration in Tavullia, in the parish that became famous (like the whole town, for that matter) thanks to Valentino Rossi, with the old parish priest ringing the bells every time the Doctor won a race.

This time, however, the spotlight was on his brother, Luca Marini, who got married to Marta shortly after 4:30 p.m. Valentino Rossi, however, was obviously present, alongside his partner Francesca Sofia Novello and holding their daughter, little Giulietta, as well as the mother of both centaurs, Stefania Palma, Luca’s sister, and his father Massimo, as well as other guests.

Marta Vincenzi showed up as per tradition dressed in a white dress with a very long train. Luca Marini, on the other hand, opted for a blue dress, to get married among other things in the same church where Alessio Salucci, aka the very famous Uccio, now husband of Pamela Severini, was married on July 29, 2019. The two newlyweds will have little time to enjoy the nuptials and by the way, they will not even leave immediately for their honeymoon, given the busy MotoGp calendar that already includes the British Grand Prix in Silverstone on Sunday, August 6.

In a recent interview with Motosprint, Luca Marini took stock of the situation after the VR46 team’s exciting first few months: “It has been a very positive start, we have worked well hitting important results. At every GP we are able to fight for the Top5 and this is fantastic. Let’s stay focused, continue to give our best and move the bar even higher until we can battle for the podium.”

Valentino Rossi’s brother also feels he has grown as a rider: “I am proud of the growth of the team and also of myself. But the team, I must admit, has taken a crazy step forward since 2022. We are stronger, more and more focused on details and also on my riding style. In managing the weekend I am more confident, every time I get on the bike I know exactly what I have to do.”

“The biggest regret to date was perhaps the weekend in Portimao. I was very fast in the off season, I expected more, I love that track. I crashed in FP3, a stupid slip, and everything went wrong from there.”
