Marco Bezzecchi: his words

Marco Bezzecchi is satisfied with his May Day performance on the track.

“It’s a test in the end, but it is nice to go home with a good feeling. We started off this morning with a relaxed attitude, as we hadn’t been conditioned by the race yesterday. I did about 30 laps and 10 starts. I was having trouble with the clutch. I needed to improve my sensitivity, so I worked on it. I’m not perfect but I am happy with the progress I made. I hope to implement it as early as Le Mans.”

Luca Marini was also satisfied: “A test that did not bring any big news, but we tried some Ohlins settings such as shock absorber or fork. They seem to be good to me. I would still like to test them in normal track conditions because today, after the race, it is hard to give an accurate evaluation. We couldn’t move forward on this issue. In general, we still had the same problems as the weekend. I can’t get my bike to run at 4 or 8, but I confirm that among the settings I tried over the last three days, the race bike is the one that I liked most, and that means we did a great job with the team from Friday.”
